The indre
A repetetive motion in this text will be the claim of the æsthetically touched indre. This is a Danish term that directly translates into the English inner, internal, inside. I have, however, abstained from doing so; the most direct translation of the meaning of indre I use is that of mit indre, meaning my inner, or my inner world. But it is not a world, it has no connotations of a world. I focus on the adjective itself, as it the movement of things going inwards towards the inner that is relevant, not this assumptious world. I do not, either, define the indre as an actual place; think of it as something unreachable, a guttal point that æsthetic shapes attempt to reach. As such, think of the indre more of an inherently prepositioned object than an adjective.
It claims there is a commonality of humans, that we each, in our æsthetic experiences, simply have our indre touched. There is no ydre. This lends from the phenomenological position.
It might seem counter-intuitive to claim these things as much post-rock music positively attempts so desperately to achieve æthereal quality (such as the band Explosions in the Sky). But my case of post-rock is not solely in the interest of the genre, but in the interest of the individual, to explain the crushing weight of the music that touches your indre.
