I was going to mention that haha. The Tux-Trio (Kinda catchy ) is not in a very good shape. Most are hungry, even starving, and Tux has only had 1AP for a couple turns now. Honestly, I was slightly surprised Tux even survived through the day because of the lack of sleep and food.

Well, you can assume someone with 1AP is sleeping / resting during a lot of the day. Its just that they don't get much choice about it.

@Immaculate, I also meant to say about your choice of crops... Unfortunately there is not much choice right now. You are the first farmer in the world and don't have the benefit of thousands of years of cultivation of all different plants You've picked out veggies you know have edible leaves and roots, seasoned with herbs you picked out, and steam-roasted over a fire to make them more edible. But nothing special yet. There could be tomato and pepper analogues out there, probably some really interesting plants, but you have to find them first!

Plan to try and start a garden next turn, likely using both AP. hopefully foraging will get us through that turn and the turn after before the food starts coming in. going to gram herb lore once I reach adulthood, if I don't gain it growing up.

1AP: Move southeast to new location, assisting Mother. remember to grab the hoe and bring it with us.
1AP: While we are moving to the new location, be on the look out for edible plants, and gather what I can. split anything I find evenly with myself and mother (even if that means I remain slightly hungry).

1 AP Lie in wait in the grass to the south, ambushing any animals that I can sneak up on. Wolves will be met with great screams and frantic movements to scare them away, but only when they confront me.

1 AP Gather up some grass from the south, munch on any particularly tasty roots I may notice >_>

1 AP Use said grass to make some linen. Guess I'll have to wrap myself in it for the time being, in lieu of proper clothes and blankets.

Day 6





Patchy, Vertinari118 and Popcornlord

Patchy and Vertinari have a tough day, fighting a running battle with a large pack of lions as they move north; a first wave of young, immature males harasses you for some time, until driven away by Patchy's slingshot. Larger, more mature lions attack in the afternoon, and have you surrounded for a while. Vertinari holds them off at spearpoint while Patchy backs him up; the pair of you are very lucky to escape with only minor scrapes. Some feisty giant wilderbeest arrive to divert the attention of the lions as evening falls. You move on, finding yourself in hilly terrain, but with a continued sense of unease. Predators rule these lands, and you sense human blood has been shed here previously. You consider making a fire for the night, but find an empty cave that provides shelter; the air is warm enough, so you simply collapse inside to rest. Strange minerals line the cave walls, giving off a gentle yellow glow. But any romantic feelings are disturbed by the cries and calls of fearsome beasts that echo across the valleys until dawn breaks.

Having had little to eat yesterday, you are both feeling worn down, but nonetheless wake with 3AP: thanks to Vertinari's hardiness and Patchy's energetic nature. Dawn also reveals another human figure nearby, keeping a safe distance; Popcornlord has similarly been on the run from giant hyena, and is a tired, hungry and bedraggled figure with 2AP.

Thomas.Berubeg Orders:
1AP: whittle the end of the stick with my stone tools to make it pointy, then, move to the river, being extremely careful not to disturb the Hippopotamus (As those Mofos are scary.) At the river, attempt to spear fish, hoping to acquire a descent pile. Eat a bit, to get my strength back.
1 AP: Move to the two other people, collecting seeds on the way, and offer some of my fish (Or, if I don't catch any, offer my linen blanket.) Hopefully they let me sleep with them in the cave. Sleep. Absolutely no cuddles tonight. I need sleep.

Patchy, Chinese Warlord: I think the cave is a great place to stay, it can easily be converted into a shelter with some stone blocks (Which one of you may want to do this turn,) we can set up farming right outside and erect a wooden palisade if needed. Additionally, A fire at the mouth of the cave should repel predators: that is what paleolithic Humans tended to do as protection, especially if supplemented with a spear.

Truly lovely update! My region is named either Firecave or Firespire, whichever you like more. I might give it an in-universe name when I invent language, but those are the things in my brain when I think of it.

Thlayli - Day 7

1AP - Inventiveness strikes me again - using a combination of stones and string-like materials, make a Stone Bolero with which to tangle the legs of prey that are faster than I.

1AP - Venture around and bolero a deer, then knock its' brains out with my Maul.

1AP - FEAST ON ITS FLESH, FINALLY. Butcher it for clothing production after I drag it back to my cave.

What is a stone bolero?

i did a google image search and it seems to be a woman's top - often worn as part of a wedding dress. Also a jeep-like vehicle. I only ask because i want to make a jeep-like vehicle out of stones and string-like materials in RL.
