NESLife attempt #3

If it helps speed up the update (when you get round to it), maybe you should skip the NPCs? Might save you time and energy.

What page (or post #) was the last update?

Check in the first page - he got a list.

Daft - maybe this NES should take a long 6 months break in which you will create a big update with many evolutions - from which we will continue? Like a BT in ITBT NESes?

Daftpanzer, I don't want to be rude but maybe you can post a response to erez87's query? You have done two updates on your other NESes, after all.

I remember typing a reply to erez's last question. It must have got lost!?

Basically, big updates like the last one are the problem. I think less detailed updates with fewer evolutions are better, since I can do more of them and the game progress more.

@Neverwonagame3, going back to earlier comments, I think you fail to realise that modding and updating a NES is not like turning the wheels of some machine. Sure you can try keeping to a schedule, but it takes a lot of creativity and inspiration and free time to keep things going, and you can never guarantee when you will have those three things.

Thats why I say - take 6 months for an awesome big huge update - and after it go back to no more then PC's and 5 NPC's at most each update.

Dafty, its taken me 3 months to post this, but please?

Sigh, I haven't forgotten about this, and have done some drawing, but obviously no update yet :(

It doesn't help that I'm having fun with running NEB1, and my creature drawing efforts seem more lame than usual after playing with and creating things in Spore™.

I'm considering some revisions of some kind, either to the way species images are shown, or the whole game. Of course it would suck to lose continuity with 34 updates :(

You could just have civilization appear and destroy the planet, then start with something fresh if you'd like- but I would really love to see an update of this.

I would take your drawings over Spore creations any day dafty!

the Jubblers are primed to do just that right now. barring another mass extenction, I see them rising to civilization status within 10 genes. if you want to end this,

The Kakliea were more or less ready for the last few steps to civilisation a little while ago, not sure what's happening with them now though.

The various branches of the shellster line are fully prepared to be a fine delicacy in your civilized societies.

OK, I have to be honest, this NES has slipped way down my list of priorities, alongside a DaftNes2 revival :(

I'm not killing the NES, but I'm still stuck as how to proceed. 34 updates is my record for anything. I do want to build on this in some way.

Would anyone like to see the drawings I have done for the current era? You won't believe how much time went into so little result. Only 7 species done out of 18+ scheduled.
