so... is aurora just another word for bird in this NES? or are there other bird species that i just haven't noticed, and aurora is just a major branch in the bird evolutionary tree?

As Lord_Iggy said, they evolved from fish-like creatures, and went through a lot of evolutions as swimming fliers before getting inland. The feathers are quite recent additions. It's quite strange. They dont have any proper 'legs' as such.

The other flying branches are the 'jubblers' which TerrisH has been evoling, which are kinda wasp-like and started from simple crawling creatures, and also the 'flying lobsters' which Lord Iggy has evolved from his earlier crustancean-like creatures, the most recent of those is the Floryte.

I'm not sure if I want to end up evolving something this turn; is there still time, and if so, how much?

Hmm, if you don't have any special ideas, would you mind waiting till after the update? Im aiming to update by the weekend.

Does my Aurora still have feathers? I can't see them in the pic, and they're supposed to be there.

It is supposed to have feathers, but it also has oil glands to keep them smooth and waterproof. I imagine the feathered land creatures like the Gorgaths would be more 'fluffy'.

Smart and Adgressive Flesh eating wasps. plan to add a measure of steleth and comunication between them next turn, so they will just more and more evil..

Dammit Daft, update your real NES first!

Screw your generic NES, this ones the winner!

They both are innovative, but this one more so.

When is the update going to be happening anyway?

How long until this going to be updated anyway?

Until we pump mini-updates of stories! I would If I have time: An otterus swam in ancestorial waters and slowly old instincts took over.... ah..... warm water... plants...

It's been a while, so I ask again. How long until this is updated?

There is no reason why he can't at least tell us how much progress, if any, has been made.

Even I want to poke this now and ask progress...
