Has the ability to be built in one city, plundered, and rebuilt in another.

I thought it was always in Venice The interresting on it is the fact that it was originally built in early 9th century, but it was destroyed when Venetians were trying to kill one doge by locking him in his own palace and setting it on fire, and the fire spread on it and it eventually burned big part of city. And since then, dagger, poison and gun became the best ways to kill someone without destroying half of your home city
But it would be very nice if it would be added with Venetian Republic (that could settle more cities because of large territory it held in medieval times) led by Enrico Dandolo again. Enrico led the Fourth Crusade and during that, Venice plundered Constantinople and gained lots of... Oh, I get what did you mean by your comment

Why not add the original St. Mark's Church from Alexandria? It was one of the first churches of christianity after all and the seat of the Pope of Alexandria until ca. 1000 AD (when it was transferred to St. Mark's in Cairo where it still is today). Copts can always need more representation, it's an interesting version of christianity. It would be difficult to choose which one though, since we have no idea at all how the original church looked and the later rebuilds were destroyed rather often.
But then again, if I would choose a coptic monument, I would choose Saint Catherine's Monastery. Amazing place!
I think the Hagia Sophia has already taken the niche that St. Mark's from Venice would occupy though. But for some people, there can never be enough churches...

Cologne Cathedral 27 + 1 = 28 Magnificent and imposing Cathedral, I really love Gothic architecture. The problem with this is that it's too similar to Notre-Dame, so I find it hard to get both of them into the game. But this is debatable, since we already had the Temple of Artemis and the Parthenon both in the game which are very similar.

I'm sorry that I couldn't take the suggestions into the game - I liked my idea of limiting them per continent and that led to high competition in Europe, Africa and Asia iirc, while I more or less took what I could get for the Americas.
We can do a round two, sure, but I will probably not be able to keep track of the ranking, since I'll be without internet connection for most time of the summer.
