Has the ability to be built in one city, plundered, and rebuilt in another. :p
I thought it was always in Venice :D The interresting on it is the fact that it was originally built in early 9th century, but it was destroyed when Venetians were trying to kill one doge by locking him in his own palace and setting it on fire, and the fire spread on it and it eventually burned big part of city. And since then, dagger, poison and gun became the best ways to kill someone without destroying half of your home city :p
But it would be very nice if it would be added with Venetian Republic (that could settle more cities because of large territory it held in medieval times) led by Enrico Dandolo again. Enrico led the Fourth Crusade and during that, Venice plundered Constantinople and gained lots of... Oh, I get what did you mean by your comment :D

Why not add the original St. Mark's Church from Alexandria? It was one of the first churches of christianity after all and the seat of the Pope of Alexandria until ca. 1000 AD (when it was transferred to St. Mark's in Cairo where it still is today). Copts can always need more representation, it's an interesting version of christianity. It would be difficult to choose which one though, since we have no idea at all how the original church looked and the later rebuilds were destroyed rather often.
But then again, if I would choose a coptic monument, I would choose Saint Catherine's Monastery. Amazing place!
I think the Hagia Sophia has already taken the niche that St. Mark's from Venice would occupy though. But for some people, there can never be enough churches...

Oh, I didn't know there was one in Alexandria. It would be interresting, but I still think the Venetian would be better. It's still standing and I would say it's the most visited place in Venice and one of the most known churches in the world. And it's inredible sight both from outside and inside. I think it would give religious and gold bonus.

So I got Zaarin's post wrong. Sorry.

No, I think @Zaarin did think of the 4th crusade and not the original church in Alexandria.

Indeed, though I'm all for some representation of Oriental Orthodoxy, which currently has absolutely zero representation in game in any form. :(

Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 27

Pyramid of the Sun 25
Saksaq Waman 10
Sri Harmandir Sahib 23
Tōdai-ji 25

Abu Simbel 10 (9 + 1) -- Considering we only have one, we do indeed need more wonders from Egypt right now.
Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 27
Empire State Building 16 (19 - 3) -- I'd like to see it in game, but I'd rather see the Chrysler Building.

Saksaq Waman 10
Sri Harmandir Sahib 23
Tōdai-ji 25

Abu Simbel 8
Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 27
Empire State Building 14
Leshan Giant Buddha 24
Pyramid of the Sun 25 + 1 = 26 (It's definitely a rather magnificent sight and a nice memorial to other Mesoamerican civs that likely won't be in Civ VI.)
Saksaq Waman 7 - 3 = 4 (Worth a tourist visit, but as a wonder? Nope. It looks like a mangled bunch of ruins now, and fortresses as wonders are on shaky ground unless they are iconic like the Red Fort)
Sri Harmandir Sahib 24

Abu Simbel 8

Abu Simbel 8
Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 27
Empire State Building 15
Leshan Giant Buddha 24
Pyramid of the Sun 26 + 1 = 27 There's a reason why the flame for the Pan Am games is lit there
Saksaq Waman 1 - 3 = ELIMINATED Not really interesting, though it's just a tourist destination; the Spaniards vandalized it earlier
Sri Harmandir Sahib 24
Tōdai-ji 25

Abu Simbel 8 - 3 = 5 I'm in trouble to assign down votes. Since everyone on the list interests me, but I'll have to go for it, because choices have to be made.
Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 27 + 1 = 28 Magnificent and imposing Cathedral, I really love Gothic architecture. The problem with this is that it's too similar to Notre-Dame, so I find it hard to get both of them into the game. But this is debatable, since we already had the Temple of Artemis and the Parthenon both in the game which are very similar.
Empire State Building 15
Leshan Giant Buddha 24
Pyramid of the Sun 27

@Siptah Will there a round 2? I have some good names of potential wonders that went unnoticed me during the suggestions

I'm sorry that I couldn't take the suggestions into the game - I liked my idea of limiting them per continent and that led to high competition in Europe, Africa and Asia iirc, while I more or less took what I could get for the Americas.
We can do a round two, sure, but I will probably not be able to keep track of the ranking, since I'll be without internet connection for most time of the summer.

Abu Simbel 5
Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 28
Empire State Building 15-3=12 I HATE downvoting the remaining of these, but if I have to choose to what I like the least it would be this one.
Leshan Giant Buddha 24
Pyramid of the Sun 27+1=28 I could really settle with the whole Avenue of the dead with both the Pyramid of the Sun and Pyramid of the moon.
Sri Harmandir Sahib 24
Tōdai-ji 25

Abu Simbel 5
Churches of Lalibela 28
Cologne Cathedral 29 (28+1) I don't think it is too similar to Notre Dame de Paris, and I think it could be an alternative.
Empire State Building 12
Leshan Giant Buddha 24
Pyramid of the Sun 25 (28-3) we already have two Mesoamerican wonders. I'd prefer more from South America. It would have been a good choice to replace Chichen Itza or Huey though.
Sri Harmandir Sahib 24
