This is for serious. One building per tech is very very restrictive. Give us some space please example beetwen one to three. Why only one?

We have about 450 buildings left for Transhuman, and maybe 700 max for Galactic. Your quote doesn't make for very good game design, and doesn't fit with the amount in other eras. There is more technological innovation after Modern.

How true you are, but the main reason i did this is because, HOW many people have actually made it even to the TranHuman Era?? I bet you probably can count them with your hands and toes.
Memory i am not concerned about anymore.

In my present game i am in the Modern Era, and i can only play about 6 turns before BORED. Then wait 2 hours and play maybe 5 more. Its back and forth that way (at least for me). Not much for motivation unless you can have something HUGE going on, and then Whats that?? I dont mean to be a dill pickle, but jeez.:sad:
 
Modern era gameplay is very boring indeed. We need something new, like the spacestuff. Also, when the AI gets improved sometimes in the future, the later game should be more interesting.
I'd say we can continue to develope more buildings, but just don't add them in the core.
I can make an additional folder with buildings that are beyond the 2 buildings per tech and make it off per default. How does this sound SO? Once more people reach the TH era we can turn it on if we want to.

Also add active senat from Advanced Diplomacy 2 and Total WAR
ALso add newest version of Super Spies by stolenrayns

lets add stockpile exaustable resources from EOW mod

And lets add something called EConomic warfare

In short - we can add more buildings but most of all we need new concepts to make game interesting in future eras.

Why such an arbitrary rule? One reason we reduced the numbers of techs on the tech tree is so we could express the ideas as buildings instead of new techs. Thus each tech would have lots of buildings. This is totally unfair.

Modern era gameplay is very boring indeed. We need something new, like the spacestuff. Also, when the AI gets improved sometimes in the future, the later game should be more interesting.

Indeed once Space, Pandemic Diseases and Black Ops are put in you should have a lot more excitement in later game.

Have you asked the developers from the mods Nimek posted? I can understand if they only want to do their own thing, but they *might* be interested in helping C2C.

SO, are you ok if we add more buildings but put them in a seperated folder, that is not loaded per default. So if you want to have more buildings, you can change the loading setting easily. And if you are only in the PH era for example, you could switch those off and save memory.

After playing some SimCity (2013) I realized we don't have any Reclamation Plants. Having them should help any nation without a resource to catch up and recycle the goods they trade for the resources they need if they have a Recycling Plant.

Er, how is this dependent on any goods you are trading for? Doesn't this mean a nation with no trade links at all and no resources can produce them by recycling...well nothing really?

If (say) aluminum recycling plant required bonus 'tinned foods' OR bonus <something else that would have aluminum in> it would make sense...

The problem is the buildings we are making are linked to so many other buildings that won't be turned off. Its too much effort for too little pay off. For Alt-Timeline stuff its fine but not when we have buildings all interlinked within the web of other buildings.

Limiting buildings to one per tech is not going to make it more exciting. Adding more things that can cause conflict and a challenge will. However we need the good stuff put in first, otherwise the player will not have any tools to combat the negative.

Thanks for trusting me. I also have a lot of trust in TB and DH that their Disease and Black Ops stuff will bring the excitement to the later eras. And hopefully someday players will get to explore off world with multimaps. the Whole Space race and colonization of the moon and mars should be very existing for the later eras.

As for the pink icons, Fausmouse is already aware of them and trying to fix them. Remember he had a very busy RL this month. So we should cut him some slack since he did an AMAZING job over the summer.
