New Civ Game Guide: Siam

The other thing that bugs me is that starting bias is near ivory. Of course. Siam is an Elephant (and also gunpowder) empire. but cities are founded by rivers, big or small. Elephants are always caught from the deep jungles, several times elephant catching party went as far as what's now Surin province. or alternatively as a tribute given by vassals that have these. (and sometimes with handlers handed over to Bangkok)
don't forget the fact that 'Bang' is built alongside waterways of any type. (unless the ingame buildings actually extended the said 'watereways' after a construction or even a Bang can build right next to each other, ultimately recreating Venice of the East.

Elephant catching process (and handling post process) is so much an art, and sorcery. involving the use of magic, this is due to the fact elephants are imposingly big, and can be fierce. an elephant died in military serviec earned the same cremation honor as human nobles.

The best known catchers, and handlers were Suai people. they got the name because they catch elephants and handed over to Kings (paying 'Suai'), these men were often recruited by the central government specially to handle these beasts. These were related to Khmers of the antiquity.

Looks like I had his son, Chula Chakrabongse, instead! Updated to refer to Chakrabongse Bhuvanath - thanks for the heads-up!
Occasionally, those junior bluebloods married to Whites.
Sometimes even a big sister to King Rama X married to a swiss who had a family name 'Jensen'. but I'm not sure about her marriage life. She lost her son to Boxing Day 2003 Tsunami disaster.
but this is a reason a blueblood person can lost one's royal title. or legitimacy to reign. here.

Fear of Foreign domination is still real even today. and foreign citizens do not earn Thai citizenship easy due to this reason. It is legal for Thai citizen to marry a foreigner, but said foreigner can only earn citizenship once it is approved by Minister of Interior. any registrar clerks, or even magistrate cannot approve citizenships on its own.
Non-naturalized foreigner espouse can dwell in Thailand however, as long as Thai national in question lives, OR the couple (martinomially registered) has at least a living child. otherwise if that said Thai person dies, an espouse has to return to previous country within 30 or 90 days.

This should also be Tier 1 Siamese uniform (should I call that? but worn by 'Core Army' and palace guard before modernizations started). exactly this one is for my mod which I'm not sure i should continue doing it? but for Earlymodern era.
