I'll look at it. Devs can make changes outside of the VP Congress, but if it isn't a bugfix it'll be subject to ratification after 30 days.

Next version (3.0) should be out Nov 1, by the way. I was considering releasing a 2.7.4, but the bugfix for the Tradition buildings won't be savegame compatible, since existing buildings won't be affected.
If releasing the hotfix doesn't take too much time (no need to remake an installer, just the fixed files to replace in the mod directory if it's possible) I'd be very happy to get it and start a new game meanwhile :) .

I would also really appreciate it if we could have the fixed files.

Here's an updated DLL. Fixes the yield to other buildings not applying bug in new games (actually unsure about existing games, might be worth a shot) as well as a crash. Replace the DLL in MODS > (1) Community Patch with this one. Savegame compatible.

Just finished a Japan Authority game

The pacing of the science felt really good!

Though lost to a Venice Diplo Victory :'(

Also 0 crashes in 550turns!

This community and devs rule! :grouphug:
What difficulty?
How is venice nowadays, it used to be a crappy civ that just gave more room for the offensive civs.
I've had them turned off for years but maybe time to activate them again?

Venice is OP as an opponent, as they have very many ships, but playing as them is not fun because you have too much gold but can't settle new cities

Yes you can, but only as puppets/
No actually you can't because you can't get settlers, only merchants which means before you can settle your third puppeted city the opponent already occupied your entire continent with their cities

Venice has 8 cities in the game I'm in. AI only starts buying city states after running out of space to settle more.

What happens when they buy them , does that basically equal conquer?
Thats great to reduce the power of current statecraft civs.

When a MoV purchases a city state, Venice gets all of their units, and the city doesn't lose any population or buildings.

However, other civilizations can still declare war on Venice and "liberate* the city from Venice, returning it to a city state.

The cartography quest does not work correctly. If the pathfinder gets +1 visibility range, then the quest will be completed, even if the research point is 20 cells from the nearest unit.
