been unable to buy units with faith despite acquiring the proper belief. New game on 3.7.11, my last game was on 3.7.8 where it worked fine.

I'm at war with Morocco, but can't do anything to his cargo ship.
If Morocco already has Firaxite Materials corporation, that should be the reason. It makes Morocco's trade routes invincible. Otherwise, that should be a bug.

- Adjusted Diplo AI "close to victory" thresholds that trigger endgame aggression boost Close to Diplo Victory: 75% -> 55% Close to Culture Victory: 75% -> 60% For an explanation of how these values are calculated, see the Guide to Victory Competition (Vox Populi Diplomacy Guides thread)
Shouldn't these kind of things proposed through the congress? I'd rather vote on that or vote on the value of that parameters rather than swapping some icons. I mean some congress proposals are really trivial and could be tested via an "official VP mod mod" while this seems like an important change! Or am I overvaluating the importance of this change in the value of thresholds?

AI adjustments don't have to be run through the VP Congress. They can be, but don't have to be. For that matter, lead developers have the ability to make balance changes outside the VP Congress, although this is used sparingly.

See the Vox Populi Diplomacy Guides thread (which I will be adding to) if you want to make specific suggestions on the diplomacy AI.

I made the VP Congress because a lot of people have opinions on game balance and I'd rather leave that in the community's hands because I'm not good at or particularly interested in it. My personal interest is largely in improving the diplomacy AI, as ilteroi's is largely in improving the tactical AI.

Anyway, the functioning of the AI is best handled by dedicated developers because of how complex it is and how everything interlinks. If we had to run every AI change through a vote that would kill our productivity and the mod would end up with no AI improvements. Balance changes are slower paced, easier for the community to understand, and benefit the most from player testing and feedback. Rarely do we receive specific comments on AI performance outside of bug reports.

I made some changes to the City Governor for this version, in particular to how the assignment of specialists is calculated. Let me know if it works better now or if there are things that should be improved.
City Governor properly takes into account food consumption of specialists

How does governor take food into account? Because I notice he loves to assign specialists as soon as there is a slot for them, leaving only a few food for growth. I wonder if food might be weighted a bit too low, especially in low pop cities.

one thing is to check your happiness in such cities. Sometimes when I think the governor is off, and I do it manually, I realize that my unhappiness is effectively nulling out my food, and so getting more food has almost no value at the moment. The governor does take that into account.

I'm at 100% happiness. It's the beginning of the game, cities only have 4-5 pop.

Is vox populi promotion icons enabled by selecting in options alone? Or must the directory also be created within mods directory? I've been away a while

That was my fault for the wrong load order. It should be fixed now.

Oh, cool thanks!

But, does it include it within the core game files or does it actually make a separate directory?

And, for the load order, will it place 1,2,3,4 before all the secondary?

The promotion icon is already integrated into the (2) VP mod.

Fingers crossed, so far I've played 350ish turns of 3.7.11 and haven't had a single graphics card rendering crash (I was getting them every 20 turns or so before). I'm guessing that promotion icon fix mentioned did the trick.

Second, cannot purchase units with faith despite having the belief and faith required. Nuncios+glory of god is broken. Seems to be 3.7.11 issue only, rolling back to earlier version fixed it.

Please post bug reports on GitHub. Bug reports made on forum threads will likely be ignored.

Fixed, although if you don't want to wait for the next version. You can download this and replace it in your (1)
