We find your petty squabbling immature and irrational on both parts. If lasting peace is to be achieved since the end of the Shuurai-Nekomi war, both of you must put effort into it. we have never Intentionally Insulted the USC, and have never wished to do so. while it is true we would prefer Sol to return to it's previous, neutral arrangement, abet with a reformed and less corrupt government then it had before. However, if they do wish to remain part of the USC, we will not hold it Against them, as it is their choice.
We also state that it is our belief that the previous diplomacy from the USC was some sort of hacker prank, and hope the USC quickly brings the perpetrator to justice.

Maybe I didn't make myself clear: you have your answer. I'm not interested in alliances, and as regards Sol, I will do whatever I damn well deem necessary for its proper reconstruction, and the people may vote as they will afterwards. Further clarification is moot, there is no room for discussion or diplomacy in matters; I'm not changing my mind on either count.

The confusion seems complete as Capellan officials switch between high-pitched formal complaints [...] and defensive claims that they had nothing to do with it, whatever "it" is.

Which suggests that it's their fault since they're acting in an inconsistent manner, ie. don't have their (cover?) story straight.

And the point that they attempted to move a damaged ship without repairing it still applies.
