Very good to know! Was planning to look for friendly relations with the Huris myself, good to know it's already on. Especially with the anti-USC coalition forming to the "west" (how is west called in space anyway?).

We have been a peaceful faction until the day the Nekomi invaded our lands. We even allowed them to retain a pre-war borders peace even thought we were under attack.

Our only problem is with our Nekomi neighbors that have hated us since they met us. We would wish this problem solves but they have never showed any peaceful signs toward us.

OOC: I can not tell if you are affirmatively dropping an IC position of the UCS or are simply unaware of your state's previous position. If you need to see you faction's position, the discussion starts http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=5370077#post5370077 and goes between a posts for a few pages.

IC: Only an affirmative change in position by the UCS vis a vis its position on the other nations would show any change is such policy. Until then, we are forced to assume that UCS policy is to subjugate our nation.

ooc:I have been reading the updates and diplomacy (non-secret of course).
ic:I saw we and the Nekomi had nice peaceful trading relations until they invaded us through Sol saying they hate our government form and nothing else (we were the Shuuri back then).

The page you sent me states the Nekomi oppression of the system of Rana in this time of harsh lives. They shot on civilians because they did not wish to be part of Nekomi. Nekomi again showed nothing for aggression towards others. and may I add that the USC never suggested for a poll to be taken in Rana but the UPNCS did, the earth's united governments. The USC merely accepted the earth's view on the matters as it was indeed the righteous one.

Once Rana wished for Nekomi rule and the Nekomi jumped on the offer, than Rana wanted out but the Nekomi brought forces and attacked the people of Rana. To my knowledge the oppression have ceased and so our embargo ceased has well. Why do the Nekomi to show nothing but hate since day one when they invaded us for no reason at all? And it wasn't long ago, just a few years back...

President Mariah Fondez, an earth woman, is the new president of the USC after the last president has been “relieved” from his duties after the past diplomatic situation.


Seeing the USC rudeness in naming the UPNCS the “law of everyone” she has decided to take back those words and declares that the USC does not believe in that. While the UPNCS is a most important faction in the galactic order, they are not the law. Yet the Nekomi oppression of Rana, A system that invited them in the past, is a most horrible act and the UPNCS call for an embargo was a rightful one. Luckily the Nekomi have learned from their mistake and the embargo has been lifted.


to the Colonials:
We are sorry for the blunt rudeness. The truth stands with your side on the fact that the UPNCS is NOT international law. But it does not stand with you that Rana was oppressed after inviting the Nekomi in and the fact remains that many civilians who did nothing wrong but tell of their unhappiness towards the Nekomi were killed by Nekomi fire. Can you truly stand behind your claim that this killing of innocent people is right?

A civilized nation do not invade others and kill it's on population on planet scale.
Yes things were fixed, for now. We shall await to see when Nekomi once again show their aggression toward others. We can promise you we will not hold our fleets back next time the Nekomi crosses us.
