Nitram15's LeaderHead gallery!

The LH is getting better and better. Awesome work, Nitram :D

Btw, Capo said u should change the sash on his shoulder. To try that way too, how he looks with Peter's fur sash.
The fur lining is on his hat, that is what u wrote for that u don't want to change for some good reason. I don't know adding an alpha channel how big a change, probably it would look better, but I don't understand how it works...

Nitram, seriously, you are starting to become a little over-the-top with this not wanting help act.

There can be absolutely NO reason to not want to add an Alpha property (i.e. the FULL use of the texture's alpha channel) other than pride. NONE. Look at this attachment. Are you telling me you didn't use an alpha channel because you thought it looked better? Really!?!?!?

EDIT: Sorry if that came off as tough, but you are good at making LHs, your biggest problem is your seeming inability to take any sort of crticism or advice (no matter how good and constructive it is) coupled with your sensitivity over how well-liked they are. But if you really have a good reason not to use an Alpha Channel I would love to hear it...

@The Capo: I HAVE GOT a reason, what isn't interested for you!
And when we start again, I will break our friendship! (But I don't want it, of course)

If you have a reason what is it?

The reason I am interested is because I like to use things people make, I am interested in seeing everyone get better at what they do, rather than throw a hissy fit when they forgot to do something and pretend like it was intentional. If you have a good reason there is no reason not to explain it (what did an Alpha Property kill your dog or something?).

If you are really getting this upset over it, that's fine. But I will continue to post here if I feel the need so if you don't want to talk to me anymore you'll have to put me on ignore, but I don't understand why you would do something like that when I am trying to help you.

EDIT: By the way it takes less than a minute to add an alpha property. Just open Genghis Khan's LH in NifSkope, select the fur lining, copy the Alpha Property branch and paste it over to Ruga's fur lining. It's that easy.

Really great work Nitram!:goodjob: I do have a suggestion for it, could you make the armor less glossy, so it looks less like it's made of plastic?

I have to agree with Capo and Ekmek here. This is a really good leaderhead Nitram, the lighting and background are simply gorgeous. But with the alpha property on the fur and some face sculpting it could be a truly *GREAT* leaderhead. I look forward to v2 :)

Hey Nitram!
I found this, maybe this is a solution for your alpha channel problem (for v2):

I'm also having a problem with alphas

I've just gotten back from vacation and I'm working on a new LH. This one has a fur coat. I'm using the fur from Colonization's Spanish King, with some tweaks.

Here's the problem:

problemsnow.png

(Ignore the skin, the solid faces are intentional)

You'll notice that the fur on the right looks different from the fur on the left. What happened was that in Blender, I duplicated the fur on her left shoulder, mirrored it, and flipped the normals to cover the right shoulder. So right now, the fur on that part of the mesh looks turned inside out.

Is there a simple Nifskope fix that can solve this, is there a fix in Blender, or would I just have to redo the fur entirely?

I had this problem too, with my Nimrod. It was horrible! My method is quick but brutal. Completely remove alfa in Nifscope, by deleting, the NiAlphaProperty. I don't want to use this.

The Snow Queen, from the Hans Christian Andersen story of the same name. Expect to see her in Fictionalization IV soon.

that snow queen is frickin awesome. so what worked on the alpha?

I removed the Alpha properties on the non-fur objects, just like you suggested.

I'd try to work on the texture of the clothes to get more details and I'd try to add the famous whip somehow. Unfortunately, I have no idea for a background.
