Kant truly was brilliant. He is the only philosopher, ever, to have developed a non-natural law system of ethics that's internally consistent and thoroughly justifiable through pure reason that simultaneously solved most of the epistemological dilemmas that plagued 18th century philosophers. If I weren't a subscriber to natural law myself, I would be a Kantian.
