Indeed, it is important for the democratic nations of the world to keep on good terms with each other.

We hope you suggest our proposal.

Venezuala is a personal matter, and while our armies are stretched we do not require assistance from Brazil unless they offer something in return.

From King George IV, King of Great Britain

We are saddened to see your great leader brought down by a mere bullet. We shall attend the funeral but for security reasons surrounding our King and his recent assassination attempt, we will be sending Princess Elizabeth. The trip would do her good.

Also concerning Venezuela, if you were still in the Noble Alliance, I would have accepted your offer to help us immediatly. But now that you are not, we are not sure where your allegiances lie at the moment, but you did say that Canadian divisions will be assisting as well, this helps, and Britain approves. We only ask that you keep Juarez alive and brought to England for trial.

Perhaps you would like improved rifles and mobile artillery?

No mention of Japan in the update?

Actually all I need to know is the mood of Japanese people to their new government. :)

We are deeply saddened by death of your great leader President Thomas Haynes. If you allow it, Prime Minister Honjo plans to attend the funeral.

The people of Japan strongly condemn your invasion of Vietnam. This is not a British colony. It is a nation seeking to peaceful build itself. We ask that you remove your forces from all parts of Vietnam and pay them for damages. We hereby sever all diplomatic relations with the Lowlands until they remove their forces from Vietnam,

If you so request, we will send a small military force to assist you in your struggle. We are also prepared to offer economic aid to rebuild your economy from the damages caused by the war.

To: USCA, Great Britain, and Russia
From: Japan

We ask that you stand with Japan in condemning the invasion of Vietnam. We also ask you force them to remove all their forces Vietnam. We cannot allow the Lowlands to continue aggressively expand their colonial empire by conquering other sovereign nations.

We hereby recognize the independence of India. Welcome to Nationhood!

From: Japan

The Indian people have chosen their destiny. Please don’t invade and try to take what is no longer yours. It is a war you cannot win. Your armies are strong and mighty but they cannot defeat the will of a people. Perhaps a compromise can be reached. India gets independence but remains within the Commonwealth system.

From:The Kingdom of Spain

We begin by sharing our grief for the loss of your president and would like to attend the funeral, now we would like to know why Spain is to blame for this assasination, your president was still on American soil when killed and had not yet visited our Kingdom. Since Spain was a diplomatic stop over we would have no more reason to kill him than anyone else you would visit, perhaps even less.

We will help if requested as an act of friendship but please do not blame us for something that the Communists have done, as we could not be further from them

India was a commonwealth.

Also Nukekid, is Gandhi still alive?

OCC: I thought it was an imperial colony. I was suggesting giving it more freedom like Australia or Canada. I freely admit I have trouble understanding some of these alt-histories

I need an answer of how I lost 8 infantry divisions when I only sent 7 Nuke. :p

Relax, we already declared our intentions of withdrawing from Vietnam. And...

How dare you betray us after we gave you a free tech to rebuild. :p

Okay, thanks for fixing it. I lost my entire Vietnamese expedition force. :( Just for recap:

To: Vietnam
From: Lowlands

We are withdrawing from Vietnam, effective immediately. However, we do plan to maintain hold on Saget for the time being.

From the Italian Social Republic

Good going. Mussolini restates his claims to Piedmont, the last territory containing ethnic Italians outside of Italy. Our plans to intervene and take the area ourselves were interrupted by the need to reclaim Lombardy and Venetia.

Once I get this, I can focus on building a peaceful corporate state at home.

We ask that you remove your forces from all parts of Vietnam. This is a sovereign nation and you cannot invade a part of and then say it is ok because you are only holding it for a little while. Had we known your gift came with conditions, we never would have accepted it. In the future, we will not accept gifts from the Lowlands.
