Nuke Nes: After Victoria

OOC: who recognised India?

To: Japan
From: Lowlands

We have no interest in shouldering a share of the world's responsibilities when countries like yourselves constantly interfere in our domestic matters.

Go ahead and renounce the Treaty of Washington. Restore the old bloodthirsty imperialistic Japanese empire. Go massacre the Korean peoples, the Chinese peoples again.

We don't care.

To: UCSA
From: Lowlands

What responsibility did we have to carry? The Lowlands never had a say in the Treaty of Washington. It was done without our consent and we were blackmailed by a once powerful British Empire into signing it. We are not interested in shouldering the world's affairs.

OOC: Sorry if I have a lot of venom in my voice. Don't take it personally. The last hour has been depressing.

To: Lowlands
From: UCSA

That doesn't matter. You still signed it, and thus Lowlands must abide by its terms. If you want to renounce it. Go ahead. We'll see what happens.

From: Russia
To: Japan

Communist China was not a recognized nation by an international body. It was an area of China under rebellion. Furthermore they engaged in violent acts against Imperial China. Imperial China asked for Russian and UCSA help; we gave it willingly. Now that the threat is gone and there is no more need for our troops, we will be withdrawing from China.

Actually, UCSA already have withdrawn our marines.

Very well. We will denounce Wilson's Haynes' fourteen points and the Treaty of Washington as a complete joke. Even so, we hope you'll send your political advisers to help us transition our government. If not we request that several Lowland professors and politicians be allowed to tour in the UCSA to get a better understanding our your government.

To: Lowlands
From: UCSA

We will not send any political advisors, nor shall we allow Lowland's professors and politicians to be granted entry to UCSA. From here on out, UCSA will not participate in any diplomatic relations with Lowlands.

America gets a bonus :p

How much bonus? :p

To: Great Britain and India
From: UCSA

UCSA will not officially recognize India as sovereign nation if India does not justify itself at the League of Nations.

OOC: Huh? I thought I heard someone talking about cutting of diplomatic ties and the works... :p

IC:

To: Great Britain
From: Lowlands

We urge the British to renounce the Treaty of Washington and Haynes 14 points.

To: World
From: Lowlands

Actually, we urge the world to renounce and refuse to sign the Treaty of Washington. The world will not and should not be dominated by the four signatures. (One of which is shamefully ours.)

From: Brazil
To: UCSA

The fair Queen Maria II does not trust country X and has extreme reservations about it. We'll agree...to your little proposal.

Nuke: Give us more time to get the League of Nations set up and running, I beg you. :p

fine fine :p

To: Brazil
From: UCSA

Yes. But we don't see how the 14 points will have negative effects on Brazil. But if you wish to be aggressive and imperialistic, then it will definitely hurt you. But we trust that Brazil is a peace-loving nation and will not attack nations randomly. The 14 points were designed to ensure peace throughout the world. But, the term was changed to 6 points, so it should be easier for you.

From: Brazil
To: UCSA

Yes, the 14 points are most interesting.

However, the Lowlands desperately conveyed to us why we would should not sign for the time being.

For starters, there are several loopholes in it. Britain was able to declare war on Brazil without mentioning it's accomplishes that will assist it as they are "satellites" of Britain and thus declare war through Britain.

In our opinion, this is a blatant violation of the 14 points. Also, the British have not clearly stated their reasons for going into war against us other than foolish ones like "honor". If the 14 points are not enforced, what's the point of limiting ourselves?
