Observations from Potato’s video.

I'm really starting to detest that Founder Content Pack palace skin. It's in every stupid video, and never matches any of the antiquities civs that it's applied to.

I have a great fear is that there will be no way to deactivate this stuff. Not one of the streamers I've seen has it deactivated.

That would be a tragedy, considering how many visually unique and attractive palaces there are.

I guess in and of itself it’s not offensive. But it doesn’t match any other palaces in style or scale; it takes up so much space. The whole city center hex looks awkward and empty.
Yeah, it has tiny little houses around the perimeter that are out of scale with everything else.

Oh dear... Potato went into the Civilopedia.

Phalanx and Quadrireme are the names I was looking for. 😄

I find it amusing that the Commanders, which were supposedly added to reduce micromanagement, have added a TON of new micromanagement due to the way you can cheese units in and out of groupings while in combat.
I loved micro management on the battle in Civ 5, 6. The problem was maneuver before the battle. Commander solved it with its packing and summoning feature.

...does the Civilopedia only show you what's available in your age? Or is that already filtered by age somehow?
It looks like it's filtered by age in this clip.

edit: It occurs to me that the entire Civilopedia may only contain items from the current Age, since the three Ages are effectively different mods. There's a significant loading screen during Age transition.
