I'm not leaving yet for a few days, but on Wednesday a friend and I will be moving to Manchester. I have no idea what our life there will be like, but I suspect it won't be too fat... We're bringing a computer, and we'll probably try to get internet (at least for email), but likely it'll be dial-up, and all internet time will cost a lot of money.

This means I'll be leaving CFC for some time until we get settled somewhere, and probably won't visit as much after that either... I doubt many will miss me, but CFC has been a part of my life for over 2 years now, so I guess I'll miss you.:) As I said, I don't know what'll happen though.

Good lick in the UK, Funxus.

Take care, Gogf! What are you going to do?

If you read my sig, you'll notice I said I'll be gone 7-13 through 7-22.
I'll be on a backpacking trip in the Uinta mountain range with my father (hiking expert)

Off tomorrow to Valencia, Spain for a conference. I'll be back July11.

Thanks, I will also spend some time in Barcelona to see the Gaudi stuff.

Where is the Uinta mountain range?

Well I'm off to BC tomorrow for a friends wedding and will probably hit jasper for an unspecified amount of time on the way back, I should be back within 1 1/2 - 2 weeks. cyall

I'm going to Europe for a month, with a couple of friends. Leaving on tuesday, so busy day packing tommorow. We are travelling by train (inter rail ticket, though we are flying there and back) and will be visiting France (5 nights in Paris to start off), Andora, Switzerland, Lichenstein (passing through), Austria (just Vienna here), Germany, Luxembourg (if we have time), Belgium and finally Holland (4 nights in Amsterdam to end with).

See you guys when I get back :)

Back from an unexpected "vacation." Essentially, it was just too damn warm to try to get to the computer that works...so I didn't post for a while.

I thought it'd be nice if I introduced myself before I think about posting more. I'm an Okie studying Econ. in America's heartland. I don't play games much, but sometimes playing Civilization is a fun diversion in the long summer months. I recently stumbled on this forum while looking for some technical information, and I discovered that many of you hail from several different countries. I'm deeply interested in what others think of America's role in global politics (as my handle might suggest :mischief: ). Also, I'm bored :D . So, if you'll have me, I'd like to post more often.
