A professional tripod isn't necessary, there are cheap ones. But if you don't want to go that route, then figure out how you can place a camera on a table or something and know what space it is aimed at. Then get it aimed as carefully as you can, and set the timer and get into the spot you picked. I think every digital camera will have a 10 second delay option on it somehow.

I've managed to obtain the first episode through others means.

MediaHint gives US proxies, Hola better internet gives proxies out for like 30 countries.

Most of it is only available on the secret Internet that only Americans can use.

If you just need the US proxy, I recommend MediaHint. No forced redirect ads as with Hola.

I am becoming addicted to RFC: Dawn of Civilization at the sacrifice of productivity. Quick solutions?

No, I was replying to CivGeneral. I don't know why you wouldn't use a mirror to take a picture. As long the photo doesn't look trashy.

I usually don't mind ads. I don't mind content providers getting some income. I don't begrudge the streamers on twitch their revenue, nor did I mind YouTube doing it for years. But screw 'em, I give up. There are too many 30 second HD ads that take my internet 3 minutes to load every time I start a video. Surfing for things I haven't seen is like getting 70-80% ads to content. Thank you Google, I now am a filthy adblocker. Good show.

Do I even want to know what's going on in Angola, Somalia, Russia, Yemen, the Indian subcontinent, and Laos?

Indian subcontinent: I'm guessing dangerous gas stoves + crumbling electrical infrastructure + shoddy construction + crowdedness + random insurgencies ?

Laos: I... don't know. That's weird.

Also, dat Paraguay ruining the Americas record.

Paraguay's used to being devastated with fire anyway.

Spoiler :

Lots of cooking over open fires, improvised wood and charcoal stoves, or old worn out wood and charcoal stoves.
