Every day this week, the weathermen would say 'tomorrow we're going to get a lot of rain' and then we never got any. There were some scattered showers in the area but the whole week was mostly a bust as far as rain went. Plenty of June Gloom though.
03:25 I awoke to see a lightning storm far out over the Sea of Mindanao. It's too faraway for me to hear thunder, just powerful flashes of light, like primordial gods battling it out for supremacy of the night sky.

It has rained for a few days straight, so now it's surely rainy season in here...It took a little while, but the weather is finally making sense...Perhaps I was overreacting a little...From here to the end of November we will have lots of rain...Particularly during the afternoons...
Cold and rainy today. Roads and not roads getting wet, but my driveway isn't because it has big trees over it. The rain so far hasn't been sufficient to penetrate their leaves and reach the ground. Well, any rain is always nice.
I haven't been following this thread but good god, this has been the rainiest april and may ever. April we got about 6 inches which is double the average. 3 more inches so far in may. It rained almost every day in april, it rains every other day at least this month. It sucks.
