A very small snowstorm blew past my window today. It lasted less than half an hour.

Bleak would be best word to describe last few weeks. Overcast, uniformly grey skies, frequent fogs, temperatures dipping below freezing during some nights.but mostly staying around 5 degrees Celsius, with enough humidity to be uncomfortable but no rain.

Supposed to be 12C and raining here on Christmas day. No snow I guess. I'll probably just leave the drapes closed.
It's not fair. The sky is nice and clear at sunrise, but the rest of the days and nights are covered with grey clouds (which part once in awhile to let me catch a glimpse of whatever planet I can see in the east).
I missed the Geminids because of those <censored> clouds!
I was looking forward to them, because for the first time in far too many years, I have a window view where I could actually see them without having to go outside and where there wouldn't be too much light pollution (it's nice being higher than the street and parking lot lights for a change). But the weather had other plans. 
It gets dark here around 4 pm now.

I've lived here for ten years. Because of our night mists, I have never seen a meteor shower or lunar eclipse.

l last saw one about 7 or 8 years ago. An eclipse, that is. It's been over 20 years since I last saw a meteor shower.

No snow , the weather is "grey reality" home->work->home gray skies, grey buildings, grey toilet paper , gray everything .....
