In the screen where you see the culture/tourism progress, France gets a 25% modifier but Brazil and poland does not. Can this be a UA change?

something odd about tradeing food. it said nothing about food getting subtracted from the city that sends it. warsaw could send 9 food , but it only prodused 7.12 surplus food . I wish they exsplained the accual game mechanics.
If it accually gave + food without any other cost then 1 less trade possibilty why would anyone want to trade for gold if gold had as low a value as in G&K?
this leaves me to think they changed alot of game mechanics and we will not fully understand them untill we get to play the game.
In which case it is only a small matter of time before we solve it and totally break any illusion of balance.
Yes, one would expect Great Artists (Painters/Writers/Musicians) to be decoupled from the normal Great People, if one is going to get a significant amount of great works in circulation. Unless they want to make an indirect nerf of other great people, which might not be a bad thing for balance, but may not sit well with many players (including me).My bet is on pool separation :
- on one side GP generation for GScientist, GMerchant & GEngineer
- on the other side, GArtist, GWriter & GMusician are generated independently from the above ( possible less steep curve )
ToA generates GE points not GA, but the system for generation of Great Artist/Writers/Musicians need to be different to the present system of generating Great Artists. You can see that there are no points accumulating for a Great Artist despite the Temple of Artemis and the Louvre being in the City. So they either changed those wonders or the system, which i believe is far more likely.

Ow, bad mistake on my part. You are of course correct. But as you said, the point stands. Because the Louvre does provide GA points and the Artist slots on the Culture Buildings have been removed, there has to be some kind of new system.ToA generates GE points not GA, but the system for generation of Great Artist/Writers/Musicians need to be different to the present system of generating Great Artists.
Temple of Artemis gives engineer pointsYou can see that there are no points accumulating for a Great Artist despite the Temple of Artemis and the Louvre being in the City. So they either changed those wonders or the system, which i believe is far more likely.
Interesting that it was greyed out inside Polish territory. Could be some sort of tourism bomb (a la old culture bomb, although may or may not grab land).
The Pueblo won't be featured since the current Pueblo elders didn't approve Popé being featured in the game.
I do not recall David Cameron being asked if England are allowed to be in the game.

It does, however, have some kind of 'strength', whereas the Great Artist does not. I wonder what that means?
IDK if it was discussed previously or not, but has anyone noticed that Great Musician have other option below the "Create Great Work" button (take a closer look at PAX demo at YouTube around 07:50) and it's not the "Start Golden Age" button as it is with the Great Artist? Can someone elaborate on speculate on this?
I do agree with your conclusion, but just to be really nitty-picky, I have to point out there there is a third option also: We can see on the video that Poland civ have two great "artists" (they *really* need to change the name of the Great Artist -> Great Painter to avoid this confusion - anyway, I digress) available at the time. Theoretically, this town *might* have just popped a Great "artist", resetting the counter to zero - when that happens, the counter will not be shown at all, until some points start accumulating again. I don't believe this is the actual case, but we can't rule it out.You can see that there are no points accumulating for a Great Artist despite the Temple of Artemis and the Louvre being in the City.
