Pizza, how do you eat it?

How do you eat your pizza?

I eat it in one bite.

Folding pizza is just plain uncivilized.

This!

New York style pizza is weak-willed and because of that, it will always be floppy, hence the need to fold it over as if it were a delicate piece of paper in order to enjoy it.

On the other hand, Chicago style pizza is firm and strong. The crust is so strong that eating deep dish without utensils is within the realm of possibility.

You realize that 95% of the rest of the country thinks that all of you guys are sanctimonious dicks and want to get on with eating our damn pizza already, right?

Bah, 95% of the country also hasn't had a proper pizza!

it is precisely Chicago pizza and only Chicago pizza i use utensils for.

Real pizza I almost always eat with hands, it's just what you do.

Cheap delivery pizza is usually too soft/flimsy to do this with and it falls apart, so I use cutlery.

I am reminded of Jon Stewart's classic rant about Donald Trump when he took Sarah Palin to an Albanian pizza joint in Times Square for "real NY pizza", where he stacked it and ate it with a fork.

I Eat my pizza with my bare hands like an wild animal

Well I'm part of the rest of the country and I agree with Joe, and the rest of Chicago.

Doesn't it depend entirely upon the setting? If I'm at home, I will always use my hands. If I'm at a restaurant, I will always use cutlery. It's just polite! And often pizzas at restaurants won't be pre-cut (or may only be cut into quarters). Dodgy eateries are a tricky middle ground.

The poll choices are biased, and rightly so: "with cultery"

Certainly, I'd regard anyone using a knife and fork on their pizza with the same sort of suspicion that I have for cults.

How do I eat pizza? As often as possible.

At people diverging into NY vs. Chicago style, the one truth is that America stole pizza idea from Italy, and then mutated it.

NY style is a bit closer to Italian pizza, but it still is mostly wrong unless done in a brick oven.
Real Italian pizza is spread super thin (thinner than most American pizza) and baked almost like a cracker. And it's pretty typical to eat it with silverware.
