Post a pic of your university

One of the universities in Sydney recently opened a building designed by Frank Gehry. Apparently it's inspired by a crumpled paper bag.

Wow, everyone has very well designed buildings. Imperial's campus is just a bunch of London buildings of varying ages connected by a big walkway. It doesn't have the sort of grand entrances or central features that other unis seem to have.

Well, some of the departments have nice entrances. Here is the Royal School of Mines' entrance:

If there was a "central feature" to the campus, it would be Queen's Tower:

Corner of the main campus, most people would cross that intersection to get to the uni.

The crap little campus out in buttruck nowhere where the sports stats department are based.

I miss the city campus...

My alma mater is the University of Montevallo, which I visit once a month because their library is excellent and lets me check out books for four weeks. :D Most of these photos were taken by me during my last day on campus.

Right wing of Main Hall. The campus is marked by red-brick buildings, white pillars, and tree-lined walks along cobblestone paths.

The oldest men's residence hall, where I lived. I took this during my first trip back a few years ago.

The "Becoming" statue, known to everyone except for the architect as "the hands".

Old water tower at the center of campus, near the dining hall. Hosts the offices of a student-run literary magazine called...The Tower.

Humboldt State! Surrounded by Redwoods in the beautiful northcoast of Humboldt County, California.

"Founder's Hall." Sort of the old center of the university. Mostly limited to liberal arts/english classes now.

More dorms. This was where my girlfriend--now wife and mother of my children--lived.

Trees everywhere! I miss that place.
