Post the nerdiest/geekiest/dorkiest things you have ever done!

:old: Nah, I found them in my dad's book collection and thought they looked interesting, so I read them. They are ancient copies though, printed in the 60's and 70's and on the verge of falling apart.
Pshaw! I have an original Gone With the Wind, it's bound so well you'd think it was only fifty years old!
Back then, bookbinding was a true art.

That it was, unfortunately, my copy LOTR and the Hobbit did not receive the attentions of such artists, they were cheap paperbacks when new, and have weathered accordingly.

I build detailed terrain for 28mm war games like Warhammer.......but I dont play any war games.

I bought the Army Books for several races, but never bought a single model nor played a single game.

My buddy and I purchased the Stargate SG1 RPG book. 30 minutes into it we realized we needed another book, couldn't be bothered, and consequently haven't played since.

Thats my next piece after a comissioned hourse race track. That'll be a dirt track diorama. A photo finish at the wire. I'll be painting the horses like real race horses. The SG1 piece will be trees, grass, rocks and bushes complete with stargate and dhd. I may even light the symbols and dhd up with LEDs

I'm a dork.:D

I'm cosplaying as Tedd Verres for my school photo today.

Oh, and write me up for reading LOTR waay before the movies, playing D&D, being an apprentice hacker, unlawfully booting Linux onto the school computers, and a bunch of other minor things.

Oh, that reminds me: I wore my bicycle helmet to class each day for a month, because I didn't have a closet to put it in during the day. (And the teacher didn't force me to take it off, because it wasn't clothing.)

Headwear. :p

I didn't have a fashion sense up until sophomore year and dressed what my mom bought me... Yea, pretty pathetic now that I look back on it.

In reality i'm not really much of a nerd. I do have my quirks however. Like how I really want to play competitive Table Tennis. Or how I listen to John Coltrane and Thelonious Monk. Or the vocabulary words that I use in casual conversation.

I also used to play Magic a while ago. I also want to get into D&D, since a lot of my friends play it.

I also have quite the Anime collection, not including the assloads that I have received from the local Public Library.

I made my friend, who refused to wear his seatbelt in my car, wear a bike helmet whenever I drove anywhere, 1) to embarass him and 2) to give some sort of an argument when i got pulled over. Luckily, I never did get pulled over.

Did you actually read what you wrote? Magic, D&D, Anime!? You are a geek. Come out of the closet my friend, growth only comes with acceptance! ;)
