It's far from a sure thing that 072-245 will be colonized by next turn, but your interest in governing there has been noted.

I doubt it will, but I want to handle the initial landing and colonization, as it likely will be very different from that done on the airless rocks that previously qualified as colonies.

It is possible, though I believe I have listed all of the uncolonized systems that are within range of populated systems that are currently capable of sending out Stigma colony ships. If a system cannot currently send out a Stigma colonizer, but becomes able to do so over the course of the turn, and the proper preparations are made, then yes, a system that is not listed in the stats could be colonized.

Chandra, for colonial governors, how much of the planets' characteristics do you want us to decide, and not yourself? In other words, could we make a map? Decide resources? Plot zones of control?

I just realized that I didn't properly update all the stats last update. 
Hate it when that sort of thing escapes my notice. Anyway, the map is done and the update is well underway. I'm working from the outer limits of civilization into the center, which should be a good pattern for future updates.
