Pre-SysNES2: Beta-testing and Submission

And also being Xenophobic would not go awfully well with being in the Spinward. Especially with you having trading posts around.

Like I said, I haven't had a chance to read through the Thread. All I know is what Dis PMed me, which was "Come Back if you want"

Thanks alot! that's very helpful

Edit: I feel like there's no way I'm going to be able to catch up :\

You'll be fine. Don't worry about it, there's still a lot of time before the nes starts :)

By launch, there'll be an OP with all the rules. Hey, and if I can figure this stuff out, anybody can. ;)

Harus took another drink. The door behind him opened.

"What's the latest Zef?"
"The Glades are late as always, but numbers are in from the Homeland. You're up to 42% Harus. And may the seas drown me if the Nhan get even a third of the Glades vote. You did it Harus. You won."
"Yeah? About time.
You hear what they're saying on the news? They've found these people, the Lenni or something. Black and bald as the sky, apparently got a tongue that can tear out your eyes before you even blink. And they've got telepathy.
Telepathy Zef. That's the kind of the stuff they've got up there. Meanwhile we're stuck down here with the Nhan thinking they'll find more Gods' fingernails* in the Valley, as if we didn't give away enough of them to Datha back when the Yanii thought even fusion was divine.
The only way forward is up, and we won't get any closer to the Gods until these numbskulls understand that. I mean, math-throw-them-into-the-second-sun, the Nhan are on the fence even about setting up a direct trade route with Beta. How - "

"Save the drunken speeches for the celebration party Harus. You've been working your ass off for this campaign, sure, but it's not over yet. One last time up on the stage."

* "God's fingernails" is the colloquial term for Barrowbuilder artifacts found on Yan in the earlier days.

Complain while you can:

Decided I liked the way the Csser'ian emblem used negative space, so:

Reserve the right to mess around with colors at some point. (Also from what I've been able to see, Csser'ian and Zera blues might be a tad too similar.)

Dis: thinking territory-holding NPCs should either be pastels or dark shades (depending on importance?) instead of flat-white. Ones without territory (like the banks) in gray maybe. Clearly the Iris should be white ("their" map).

The Coran system start/end numbers are 2/5, 6/6 but should be 2/6, 7/7.

The Ilosians start with a borehole in 298, a region that produces virtually no m.

Modifications are funky in a few places (my Eskimos, if they have Adaptation, will absolutely love warm environments), but last I asked you were fixing that already.

May I ask for Adaptation at game-start, since the Yanii have been living in their chill, thin-atmosphered, turbulent environment for a long time?

The Hankish don’t currently have their Mining Engineers resource extraction bonus reflected.

Reminding you that Cyberorganized/Advancer are supposed get reduced adaptation costs. “Higher facility bonus” too.

Fixed.
Lern2read, its explicitly mentioned in Update -1 how they'd mined out some regions.
Since adaption is applied per region, what exactly is the issue? Maybe I've already given you cold adaption, but I'll just take it away now from someone being demanding.
None of the hard coded bonuses were implemented in the latest release version. All of them have been now.
So effing what? That'll come up in the course of the game, and if you look at the innate policy modifiers the cyber and adv factions have some nice building related ones.

The issue is that right now, the more someone hates a feature, the more that someone will love it with Adaptation. I used the Yanii as an example because my Eskimos /really/ hate Warm, which makes them /really/ love Warm once adapted.
Some things also assume that everyone hates certain environments (warm/chill being the main culprits) and thus have a negative effect on people that happen to like those environments. I already mentioned that though.

Well, the reason I asked is because the Deluge and Illosians did get a direct bonus (+2 to m/v prod).

Don't shoot the messenger :/ ; I'm of the personal opinion that all cyber/adv factions should go the way of the 'Al, and take their mouth-watering-good modifications with them.

So what? It seems to have escaped your notice that this will not be a computer game - I'm not going to give social adaption to a warm area to someone who hates warm :p. Also if someone likes something about a region, why do you need to adapt them towards it?

Wait, we have to choose our starting ships? ****, missed that.

Err... Will be done by this week
