Preview Thread: TNESII - Et In Arcadia Ego

As I'm competing against Justo, I'd like to confirm Bengal as my backup to Tver.

The Uighurs and the Tibetans were vassals of the Tang, so that still counts. :p

Vassal =/= Chinese. Moreover, the Tibetans eventually fought against the Tang and were part of their downfall.

The Yue/Annam have been part of quite a few dynasties, including the Ming.

I know that. They still don't consider themselves Chinese.

Also, Yue =/= Annam, Annam is a subset of the larger group.

The Yue comment part is kind of iffy North King. There are significant populations of Yue in Guangdong and Guangxi provinces who do indeed consider themselves "Chinese"; while it can't be said that all Yue consider themselves Chinese, it would be reasonable to say that a majority of Yue in China consider themselves Chinese.

But please, leave the part about the Tibetans and Uighurs out of this thread.

Applying for Golden Horde with a back up of Ethiopia or Norway depending on stats.

Adrogans, would you consider taking Denmark as your first choice? I consider it more important than Iraq in the broader scope of things.

Unnecessary. You are confirmed as Tver.

Justo, confirmed as Poland. Alex, confirmed as Chernigov.

UNCLAIMED SPOTS IN EUROPE:

Arcadia (!)
France (!)
Portugal (!)
Italy
Montferrat
Croatia
Hungary
Denmark

OTHER IMPORTANT UNCLAIMED SPOTS:

Egypt (!)
Australian Confederation (!)
Siamese Empire
Second Malinese Empire
Golden Horde

I'm not going to confirm any (more) Great Powers until I have a good (3+) crop of applicants for all of them.

Oh, and Azale? I remember those turns that you didn't send orders for Austria in TNESI. I was nice then. Do it again and there will be BLOOD.

I definitely remember sending for that last turn :p

Fine, switch me to Denmark primary and Iraq backup if you'd rather have players in Europe. ;)

It's not about who considers themselves Chinese, it's about who the Chinese consider part of their rightful domain :mischief:

Okay well put me wherever you want in the middle east. I just want to play as the premise of this looks good. I'm easy, or so she said.
