In dutch it is 'zet', but I think it's 'zee' in english. 'Zed' just sounds odd.

And besides, the fact that it makes it rhyme with "tee" and thus make the alphabet song work well only proves my point that zee is superior. Sesame Street > any other children's program.

Sesame Street's grammar/language bits (and story sometimes...) are corrected for different countries though... however... if the Cookie Monster decides upon a new pronunciation I feel it is my duty to abide by it!

I say it "zee," although I have had professors call it "zed," which makes us chuckle sometimes. The radio station in Boston that I tend to listen to is ZLX, which is "zee ell ex," but when they have famous people give the call letters, Paul McCartney pronounces it "zed."
