My first train on the way home is delayed long enough to miss my connecting train, despite 40 min waiting time. Instead of taking 3 trains I'll have to take 5-6, and will have min 50 min delay .

I have a party tonight at 11 PM, and my train right now sgould hopefully arrive 7:30 PM (instead of 6 PM)...unless my current train keeps its delay, would then be +1h due to missed connection.

So it came out over the holiday that my brother has been holding a grudge against me for 10 years because I missed his wedding in which I was supposed to be the best man. Nevermind that the reason I missed his wedding was because that's when I was deployed to Iraq.

Seriously, who holds a grudge over something like that? Especially for 10 years.

The only thing I can think of is that he set his wedding date before my unit's original deployment date so I could be there. We ended up deploying 6 months ahead of schedule though because of some things that were going on over there that caused us to be put on an accelerated timeline.

Still, that's something that was completely outside of my control.

Or it's something else entirely, and he's using this as an excuse.
Is it feasible for you to host a 10-year "renewable of vows" on the grounds that you've always regretted not being able to be there for the original ceremony?

Rant: I have washed my adidas sneakers in my washing machine, dried them on a heater and of course ... it was raining for three days , mud and puddles everywhere , they were dirty back again in a matter of minutes

I was texting again one of the girls with whom I had a nice evening last year, to maybe met up once more before I leave this country.
Turns out she moved away, as far as it is possible while staying in this country. Meh, I'm annoyed.
