I read the instructions again. The only special instruction was to take it with food, which I've been doing (even though I'm not really eating much).

It also says I might get a yeast infection. Yuck.

I just filed and paid my taxes but now I have to redo them and I guess file a correction. I exercised some stock options last year and they sent me forms about it. I had the forms when I tried to do the taxes but the software did not have fields that matched with the form so I left it off. I don't know why I did that, I have to figure out how to file this for AMT calculations. I didn't buy much stock and I don't think the value had changed very much from when it was issued and when I vested and I haven't sold any of it either. But it may still change my returns appreciably. It's such a headache.

Now i have to wait until monday for a new one. And this laptop doesn't run any games.

Nooooooooooooo! Not Solitaire!

Bought a can of German Oettinger for $1.40.

500mls, been drinking the Russian stuff.

Sold as a Pilsner just a generic lager. Drinks let but not great. It's ok, be good enough hot summer day.

In sale it's about 1/3rd cheaper than our generic beer. Would prefer it over our generic beer but would probably just pay the extra for the Pilsner I prefer at $3.50 for a 900 ml can.

Unfortunately, that's par for the course. I was told that eating yogurt will help some (at least it can't hurt). You might need a prescription for something to deal with it.

I'm noticing the floaters in my vision a lot more lately. It used to be I could only see them if I was looking at the sky or the ceiling, but now I see them even looking forward at darker surfaces or looking at a screen. It's annoying.

If you suddenly get a bunch of them (or what looks like electrical zigzags in the vision), you want to see an eye doctor quick. It's one of the signs of a retina starting to detach.

They show up on light surfaces, such as a white computer screen, and become more visible in general (as I understand it) the closer they are to the front of the eye. Floaters can be really tricky things sometimes - I currently have one in the crossover between my eyes, so it's managing to cast reflections in both eyes at once.

For a while, I had a floater that was kinda shaped like a certain piece of male anatomy. It eventually faded away though.

Also interestingly if you look up at the sky, you might be able to see little white specks. Those are actually white blood cells traveling around in your eyes, which are most visible against blue. There's a name for this but I forgot it.

The ones you see on pale, low-contrast surfaces are called entoptics, I think. They're the ones that zip around and don't seem to last.

If the entoptics persist when not looking at a low-contrast surface, you may be suffering from some form of visual snow. As always with visual pecularities, see your local optician/ophthalmologist.

As with entoptic phenomena, that's on you, rather than anyone else. ;)
