Parents who bring their children to the ER with a case of the sniffles and then throw a tantrum to get it looked at really ought to be jailed for abuse of the medical system.

It's been a long time since I worked the ER. I had forgotten how much blood, urine, vomit and feces one usually runs into. Yuck.

Because I'm pretty sure that I used the correct word: a potato would bake if placed in(side) a microwave (oven), but not if placed on (top of) the oven.

(Though powering up the oven while leaving it empty, would fry the magnetron)

Our software that allows us to work from home is so slow that by the time its loaded up the screen, I've forgotten why I wanted to be in that screen!

I think I'll partially be suffering from the same issues. The tunnel into our network as been awfully slow 2 weeks ago already, and now everyone will be using it.

I report it to Prolific when it happens. But they still crop up, along with sometimes getting screened out of surveys (even though Prolific doesn't allow that).

Actually it's a reference (cryptic enough I'll admit) to the first thread being about destruction being wrought (up)on hard drives, which later resulted in ‘destruction wrought in microwaves’.

I'm beginning to be like r16 but with better capitalisation and punctuation.
