Rant: CFC went down for two minutes. This is clearly unacceptable!

Ah, they booted you out for spreading fleas.

Bought four weeks of salami.

One week in, body no longer accepts salami.

Now have three weeks of salami as a nice paperweight.

Wait 2 weeks, try again, and take less.
Your body should not permanently be unable to tolerate absolute amounts of anything that fast, it must be temporary.

I'm decent enough at cooking. I just don't like it and don't have the motivation for it. I'd rather just eat takeout over the sink like a rat.
I would recommend cooking more. I made it a goal to do a lot more cooking for myself* and it definitely helped my day-to-day motivation. It doesn't need to be particularly fancy, even basic tacos (ground beef, taco seasoning, can of black beans) or lazy beef stew (chunks of beef cooked in mix of tomato soup and strained French onion soup, served over mashed potatoes) help.
Plus, hella cheaper than takeout. I can do a week of lunches with a box of pasta I got for $1.50.
*I was afraid the grocery store employees were judging me for the amount of frozen chicken strips I was buying.

Makes me glad I got to skip living on campus entirely
*shrug*
I liked living on campus. The campus was in a pretty nice area so there wasn't much 'student slum housing' nearby, and for me to go far enough to get housing cheap enough to be worth the added hassle would mean I would need a car, which would eat into anything I would save!

Small rant: Mozilla Thunderbird will disable RSS feeds if they stop working for whatever reason (most of the time, it's temporary). The problem is that there's no notification of this and since I subfolder them, I often don't notice for a while.

No way to disable this feature, either.

Unlike Firefox which just axed them all-together.

But it doesn't spy on me…

Rant: coworkers and I ate less than half of my kibbeh at the potluck. Granted, there was a LOT of food. But this now piles onto my growing amount of leftovers that I must eat quickly, and I can't really eat much food anymore.
