We do these phone conference huddles because we don't all work in the same office ... we're all over the country. But yeah, the idea is to try to simulate the types of casual conversations you have in a physical office, otherwise everyone working remotely can become isolating and you lose that team commeraderie.

Sometimes conversations get started from the questions, like "Do you prefer Star Wars or Star Trek?"

But this is not even a question. Obviously it's pre-Disney Star Wars. Or even Disneyfied Star Wars.

The things that happen to me IRL are so bizarre that I actually have to pretend it's a quieter, more normal life.

Rant: I hate it when I type a full paragraph and then accidentally hit the keyboard shorcut to reload from the save and then since I'm still typing I unintentionally confirm the reload.

You need to set an auto save every 10 minutes or so.

This month, a few random screwy bills showed up and I'm actually pressured for money. I have to make three phone calls this week to make sure things smooth over, and making phone calls is near impossibile due to my mental illness being very screwy with that sort of thing. I also found out that a friend I borrowed a few grand has done so A LOT from another friend and haven't paid it back to the other yet. Sigh
