Have to do a presentation in 3 hours that I'm not prepared for at all.

One of the guys in my group prepared a few weeks ago a presentation in basically 45 minutes, because he's just terribly unorganized ^^.
Was not a great presentation, but could have been worse.
-> it's in general doable.

Unless that's a different copy, it has "Spanish" in the title and cites a Spanish person as translator. What were you expecting?

That's unhelpful, I agree, but in this case, it does seem to indicate a Spanish copy.

Well this is the place where we rant about these things

That's nothing. I once ordered a school book and got a novel called P0l@nd about P0l@nd instead.

Actually it was pretty decent and helped me answer some questions correctly in the History Bowl Nationals. But this was before my opinion of that African lake soured.

Yeah.

Right.

That's not only funny, but clever too.
Good to see you back, B!

No, really, I did get that book by mistake. It's by James Michener.

Well, I did change the spelling partly because this is a family website and partly because I don't wish to summon anyone here. But still.

It used to happen some time ago. She now has a boyfriend and I am happy for her. I dated her in the past, and during one such date I asked her what she believes constitutes a hipster, because I felt she was sort of one. She however defined hipster as a guy wearing jean-made jackets and has a beard, among other things.

By that definition, her current boyfriend is definitely a hipster...

Yes, indeed. I'm the same. An entire novel in pdf? I'd have to really want to read it.

And printing it out would probably work out quite expensive.

Can you read pdfs on Kindles? (I haven't got one of those, either.)

I go crazy 'cause here isn't where I wanna be
And satisfaction feels like a distant memory
And I can't help myself,
All I wanna hear her say is "Are you mine?"

It might be computer-related eye strain. Spend less time in front of backlit screens and spend more time looking into the middle distance. Check out the 20-20-20 rule while you're at it.
