My face when an employer tells me I would have to acquire my own sponsorship in order to be employed by them.
Edit: Serious question though, my basic research indicates to me that it's impossible to live or work in the US without family sponsorship or employment sponsorship. Am I screwed?

So as many politicians Merkel tries to gain points by associating herself with the German national football team. Visiting games, visiting the players after the game. Stuff like that. Hm okay, the usual dumb tricks to impress dumb people.
But it is really grinding my gears how our glorious (public!) media prostitutes itself in that charade as much as it possibly can. Merkel this, Merkel that. Oh look there is Merkel. The problem: She's student in a non-computer science field, I sent the email to her university email (because I can deduce that one from her name, and I don't have her private one), and right now there are already semester holidays...might be she doesn't check that email account for the next month :/.
I know a guy who lives in the same student house, maybe I can somehow hang around there a bit. It's a big student house though, so they probably don't know each other :/.

EDIT: Additionally, the thread title is "2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil Thread" so I fail to see how my criticism of the way the sport of soccer handles ties and losses is out of place in that thread which is, shockingly, about soccer. And really, maybe 8 posts or so out of over 3,500 in the thread critical of the way teams progressed in the world cup (again in a thread about the world cup) gets your panties in a twist?
