Random Rants LV: The Joy of Ranting

Every life has ups and downs, it matters how you deal with them :)

I got my pansexual girl like 35 mins after i posted this. I mean, i received a message from her on facebook and she offered some advice on alcoholism. I'm happy again.

You've got problems with alcohol?!!

On top of being a kung fu, chess playing, pan-sexual geisha? (And a load of other stuff).

"MY sister (sister in faith) and my mother are alcoholics. I can't take it anymore. I'm dying of shame. And i can't do anything." - This.

But i consider it solved. Advice was to let them be.

Ooh.

Your sister in faith, eh? You're Catholic as well?

And why did you put all that (the bit that you did) in quotes?

The advice is good, I think. A person has to recognize for themselves that they have a problem before anyone can help them.

Yesterday I found out I buttoned my shirt wrong. When I was already home.

Stopping by to rant about work (as usual) and about some random e-loan company call center staffed by one Indian gentleman that has called my phone no less than two dozen times since 8 AM yesterday asking for ladies' names. I've been called Tera, Carol, Sarah, and a few others. I keep blocking the numbers but he keeps getting through with new ones.

He had the gall to retort "who are you to ask me that?" when I asked for his name.

If you know the company name, contact your Secretary of State (or whoever in your State deals with businesses.)

What a coincidence, yesterday some random spam company called me too, and the caller was Indian.

I couldn't tell what she was even saying though for a bit because of her accent. Anyhow, once in figured she was trying to sell me some fishy product/service, I promptly hung up.

He won't give the company name, nor his name, nor the address, and the phone numbers are from all over the US and Canada (although most of the locations are listed as unknown, a few slip in with locations every once in awhile). I have repeatedly informed them I am on the national and state "do not call" lists, but they don't seem to care.

I only know it is either an e-loan thing because he let it slip in one of the early calls, or it is some kind of 24/7 tech support from California which apparently has my data backed up on his server. And if only I go to his website and log in with my info...

Yeah, scam.

I got Catholic written in my fb page. Dunno if i qualify for Catholic in your book.

Because i don't drink, my mom and sis does.

I agree.

If you call yourself a Catholic, then you're a Catholic as far as I'm concerned.

I thought thats what at least 90% of catholics were anyways

Munch on a cracker, drink some wine, occassionally feel some weird guilt, and voila.

Religion? what's that? I'm a Catholic I believe. I attended service one time.

Still better than Church of England. Church of England is the default. It's what you get classified as if no one knows you're even an atheist.

You can be Anglican and not even know it.

Aren't half of all gays nominally Catholic? :)

Omigod, Zack, you can't just offer someone silver to see if they'll kill someone!

Offer at least some gold, ya cheapskate!
