In other news, sloppy work by construction contracters from Bulgaria have been blamed for the infrastructure breakdown that has led to today's disaster.

I dunno. Sounds like our countrymen, except they'd steal all the materials without building anything. It's the safer way; better to be persecuted for thievery than for murder, no?

Rant: Doing anything right after you wake up, especially complex things like doing groceries, made me feel stupid. Like, Obsidian NPC AI stupid.

Had a particularly grueling grilling last night. We are prepping for a USAF deep dive into our satellite's documentation before we are officially manifested for a launch.

It was totally expected that it would be grueling by team management and I was prepared for it. The thing that really sticks in my craw though is that I was given zero direction as to how to put together my slides. Then they wasted about an hour out of the 2 hours ripping up the structure of my slides. Which again, isn't a problem in and of itself except that they knew what they wanted and could have given me some direction before I put the slides together. I really, really, really, really don't appreciate all of the time I wasted putting together a presentation in one format when they wanted another format.

Also, they made the specific comment that they were going to save formatting comments until the end and then didn't. It got to the point where I just hit next slide and didn't even say a word, I just waited for the beat down to resume. Yeah, I had an actual presentation prepared but I never was able to sustain any kind of flow.


On the bright side, it makes Part 2 of The Great SpaceX Interview much less daunting. That happens in about an hour.


It's only Tuesday and I'm exhausted.

Nothing bad - there is a lot changing in my life and I have been very busy both in work and at home and I feel like I need a break / time to myself. A good night's sleep and a chat has helped.
Would still appreciate some alone time though.
