I'm usually into Bethesda games though. But Fallout, not so much. And not at all right now.
And modders-shmodders tbh..

I'm kind of annoyed at my mom. She told my brother to call me bhaijan (Hindi word for big brother which implies respect and deference) and I asked him to stop, but my mom told him to call me that over my objections. She told me it makes her feel better, but my brother calling me by that name seriously annoys me.

sup bhaijan.

you should start calling your mom bhaijan.

She wouldn't mind though, that's the thing.

And I'm cool with you calling me bhaijan. Actually, I should be calling you bhaijan since you're the cool older brother I wish I had.

Oh you :pat:

All in all, concsidering school, health, fullfilment, socialising, life in general, even videogames, there's like nothing that's going well anymore.

Saying, "I had no choice," is itself a choice. Your choices may be stupid, but they're still choices. And as all choices in life are ultimately binary, you really have no one else to blame for them but yourself. Flipping a coin should win you happiness 50% of the time. If you're running less than that.................. consider getting a coin. Unless you're one of those double-bind mofos, then the key advice here is to Costanza the situation and do the opposite of every natural impulse you have.

There's no secret to making everything better. However, I can mention something that helped me. Think about how you feel and why you feel that way. For example, I was once dissatisfied with my level of socialization. I felt like I had only superficial friends. Then I realized some things. I was being influenced by the portrayal of friendship I see on the media. The best friends who share everything. I didn't have one of those, but that is because I didn't really truly want one of those. I am a private person. I don't want to share everything, have someone know all my vulnerabilities. I just want to feel connected to other people. Now, I don't feel that way.

That doesn't sound reasonable

And not everything is a choice exactly

"Everything I do and think leads to suck"
-> "Here's a way to make 50% not suck, or even invert and make 100% not suck"
"No. I will do and think what makes everything suck"

Welp, I've read the article you linked to. While I find it interesting, I disagree with it on one premise. Happiness is not a choice. It is the result of your choices. I don't know before hand if a choice will make me happy. I can only trust that it does.

And really porn is bad for others around you? I mean, I'm not an expert on the topic, but that doesn't seem like the case.

Some person's blog on incest and porn addiction musing off a movie is certainly a reputable and all inclusive critique on human emotions

DAMMIT I just downloaded the Director's Cut edition of Wasteland 2 and I can't play it because it requires a 64 bit operating system. WEAK, the original version worked on 32 bit.

The real weakness here is your lack of 64 bit operating system.

Compromise? Let him call you that in front of your mother, and by your name (or whatever else he calls you) when she's not around.

It's not a result of your choices either. It's biology and circumstances beyond your control.
