Random Rants LXXIII: "You've had this place redecorated, haven't you? I don't like it."

It's a single family house with an upstairs and a downstairs bathroom. In theory a blockage would overflow the downstairs when the upstairs was used.

But there are splatterings of tissue paper on the shower door across the room 4 feet high off the floor.... This toilet did not overflow, it popped. :dubious:

EE Theory 1 = Dead
EE Theory 2 = People often dispose of various substances down the toilet; this works quite well
until two incompatable chemical substances mix and generate a gas bubble.

I've heard World Famous Big Al's is a lot less adventuresome to go to these days.
Actually my brother and I got kicked out of there once. ;)

Sounds like a bad end to a good start.

Early aughts. Go Braves!

I liked it rather a lot. Metro area of over 300,000 and an hour away from anything else. Has almost everything you could want, you just gotta look for it. I might have run with a slightly too wild croud, but certainly didn't want for things to do that I could afford.

Surprisingly decent local theatre culture was still lingering, wonder if that's still around. I've heard World Famous Big Al's is a lot less adventuresome to go to these days. Going down in a week or two, will probably make it a point to snag a gondola. :yumyum:
You mean a horseshoe. Please tell me you are going to eat a horseshoe.

Rant: No one makes horseshoes here.

I guess I should have just posted a picture of the sandwich.

What on earth is a horseshoe? Who would name a food that?

It's basically poutine-ish. Here's liberals describing it.

The Gondola would be $4 more here. Maybe more because of the salami.

Well yeah, job markets and such. Want to apply for a job at Caterpillar? Union aint what she used to be. Plus the whole transportation basis thing from where the food is grown, and where the stuff the food eats is grown, and taxes. Illinois has a lot of confinement hogs.

Bear in mind though, I'm pretty sure the cheese product on that sandwich comes out of little individually wrapped slices. Dammit I don't want to wait. I want it nooooooow!

Which one, the horseshoe? Yeah, I don't have the metabolism for that anymore. I think I'll skip poutine too.

I park my car under a tree when I go to work to try to keep the inside cooler since it is summer. The drawback is that the birds in the tree decide to poop all over my car :(

Not to mention the exchange rate, plus sales tax.

I've still got half a seafood omelette (shrimp and crabmeat) in the fridge, and a few dumplings. That, and my last bottle of milk, will be supper.
