Not really a rant so much as a major disappointment, but we don't have a random disappointments thread, so I'm putting it here.

Ubuntu, VR, it's the future. I never use my Windows 7 partition, except for HDD storage.

Ubuntu Linux Rules!

1) FreeBSD > any Linux distro. It's an actual real OS, not just a kernel with other stuff slapped on around it.

2) I like Windows. It's very user friendly and just works fine most of the time.

3) Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Skyrim. Outta the box, boom they run.

@PE: I got it in 2006 or 2007, so that tracks I guess.

Hearing about people beginning to riot against the government shutdown only adds confirmation to my suspicions that it's all a ploy by the <insert space aliens/illuminati/top 1%/Freemasons/etc here> to deliberately troll us and get us to fight back (figuratively and literally) and use that as an excuse to impose Fascism and such, and and maybe or maybe not (necessarily) openly.
