Random Rants Q': I protest against subtitles

I think that I wouldn't be happy even with 3000 euros/month.
Which is somewhat problematic.
Some people are just too entitled. :)

Maybe 6000 euros/month + a nice flat in Kensington, next to Hyde Park + a couple of servants to keep the house tidy + a potion to make me 20 years younger.

Wait, the yogurt with less sugar in it is more expensive? [pissed]

I hate telemarketers calling me. It caused me to blindly decline calls because I assume it’s just another telemarketer spam. As a result, it’s caused me to miss important calls to set up potential interviews with jobs I applied to (and no, my phone doesn’t have an incoming caller ID).

Im about to just say screw it and answer every call I receive. If I do get a telemarketer call, I’m just gonna act rudely to them, tell them to stop wasting my time and don’t call me unless they want to set up an interview.

If you get a telemarketer or a robo call, don't say anything; just hang up. I then block the number.

These days I tend to make a GDPR SAR when I get one.

Have you checked out the substitute foods for diabetics? Some of it is either way more expensive, hard to get (lack of demand for it, so the stores don't order it), or impossible to get because there is no sugarless variety.

I almost bit the head off one of my caseworkers because she has the same accent as most of the scammers that call (the ones with an Indian accent who try to claim their name is something like John or George MacKenzie and they want to set up furnace cleaning, security, or give me a 0% interest rate on my credit card). Fortunately I realized in time who I was talking to. The reason I was on a short fuse that day is because I'd just gotten off the phone with one of these parasites.

I just tell the scammers that I know their names aren't (whatever Canadian-sounding name they pretend to have), they're just scammers - which is illegal, and they can just <censored>.

Reporting calls is pointless unless you actually lose money or they get personal information. The RCMP and Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre are far too busy to bother with calls reporting that such-and-such a scam is making the rounds in a particular region.

was in the big city yesterday , to get my mother's ticket card to take the bus approved for Coronavirus stuff , turns out my estimated order of things was wrong and ı would have to get her card number registered online first or whatever . Though this is not the thing . Was probably told like only half but the recent thing about was actually a music video , like from my youth or whatever . And the actors in it act and when the filming ends they are all pals and whatever . Might be hard in a country where there were multiple funeral services/ceremonies when Süleyman Çakır died in some TV episode and the fans might not be so happy with the actor acting in some little different dynamics against Mükremin Çıtır in the said video or something . The easiest way not to be tricked by stuff involving r16 is not following r16 . 8 billion people do get by just fine by doing that .

Did not get to sleep last night at all. Now have to call out from work, because I feel like hell.

Got some blood work done for a check up. Useless ass nurse calls me and asks for my birthdate. I respond that she has called my number on file, a cellphone. She knows who she is talking too and I will not give my birthdate out to a caller over the phone. I no longer receive my medical information. Useless parasitical asswipes.

I'm connected to "My Chart" on line and all my medical stuff shows up there. I had blood work done last week and on Sunday I got an email that my results were posted. They were great and as expected. No waiting to have my doc tell me tomorrow.

No. I have signed up for too much **** in the last year. Don't care. Not worth it.

My friend and I were eating at Applebees and listening to the quiet background music which was a Bare Naked Ladies song.

Then, the next one was Barry White. :hmm:

Huh, that's awfully random we chatted.
Wait, are they playing them in alphabetical order?

So we racked our brains furiously for the next music artist as the song played down on a hidden timer.

Bastille right?
The next song gradually started playing as we consulted the Shazam app.

Nope, it was a random country song next, hidden mini game over!

ı would kill an easy two hours every night going through the past contests page of Artstation , like entry by entry . Doesn't work tonight , also not with a proxy and stuff . Like people should remember they should be like grateful that a Starfleet Admiral kills time !

I'm still trying to get my parents their first Covid vaccinations. For the last couple days I could not find any appointments available within 100 miles from here.

This afternoon I found a single appointment on the other side of Atlanta, but it was willed before I could fill out the application.

This evening I found 11 appointments available at the 3rd closest Kroger, but by the time I finished filling out the information they were all filled.

I just found that there are a lot of available appointments for Tuesday at multiple locations of Wallgreens in our county (not the closest ones, but 3 to 11 at various locations about half hour's drive away), but it will not let me sign up for any of them; the website is set up so that you cannot make an appointment for a first shot without also scheduling the second shot 4 weeks later. They don't have any available time slots 4 weeks from this coming Tuesday, so they won't let anyone finish the application process for the 1st shot.

The first shot of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine on its own is known to be more effective than the single shot vaccine that was approved this week, but whoever designed this website seems to want to prioritize bringing a few patients up from 85% to 95% immunity rather than letting more people get partial immunity.

Also, the Wallgreens website does not have a way for me to sign up as a caregiver for my elderly parents, even though I should be eligible under Georgia law. It also made me resister for a Walgreens account before I could check on anything, and I'm not sure it would be possible to schedule more than one person using the same account.

Edit: there are now 19 appointments available for March 7th at a Kroger 7 miles from here, but their website won't let me sign up for the first shot there either just because there are no spaces for the second shot available on Easter. This "schedule both shots at the same time" idea is idiotic.
