Do I think it's backward? Mmm, I'm not a believer of calling things "backward" or "uncivilised" or anything. I see things that some people might call "backward" as simply of being of another culture. In no way do I deem things of another culture derogatorily. It's simply differences in culture, in the same way that the English say "black and white", while Italians say "white and black".

I know perfectly what you mean. :) Just asking.

And btw, we say "white and black" too, more exactly "white-black". ;)

Strictly speaking, Italians say "white-black" too.

RRantt: Thiiisss Kyeeybboaarrd iiiss all scrrrreewwy.

recently i've been hearing this beeping sound. like one of those small battery alarm clocks.
chirp chirp chirp..... chirp chirp chirp..... chirp chirp chirp.....
all sorts of odd hours of the day and night. but i couldn't figure out where it was coming from to complain and ask someone to stop it. so today i'm walking out back of my place, and the guy in a car in the next lot over has the sound going. he's not even listening to the radio, he's just sitting in the car, all hours of the day and night. a guy of maybe 20.

how pathetic does your life have to be when you're sitting in your car for 15 hours a day and night?

It's two movies on one ticket that scares her. As for snacks, popcorn is part of the movie experience. At home I will eat anything, but at the movies it has to be popcorn - with plenty of butter.

So fill her purse with popcorn.

Seriously. Just microwave some up and put it in a paper bag, and then into her purse. The whole place smells off popcorn as is, so I don't think they'd suspect you.

I know it's summertime, but with long sleeves and pant legs, sneaking in sodas and such is pretty easy as well.

Damn! Some people here are cheap.:)

Cheap!? How dare you, sir.

I am not allowing the movie theartre's abusive refreshment prices to subsidize my viewing expirience. I refuse to bow to policies designed to rip me off. I will use all of my resources to see that I will not be made a victim of the popcorn and soda conspiracy against the common moviegoer! I stand up for the rightious! The just!

And I do it all while cowards such as you wave the white flag in the face of oppression. It is you who is the cheap one!

I did sneak in some m&ms once.

I just got my schedule for school and guess what, Spanish is first.:gripe: That Sucks! Spanish is the only class I ever have any homework in. Now I have to do it at home instead of first period! Arrrggghhh! I hate spanish homework!:wallbash:

Rant: Bicycle riders who dress up like they're competing in the tour de France just to go on a one hour ride around the neighborhood! Throw on a t-shirt, shorts and sneakers and you're ready to go. Oh, and you really don't need that $2000.00 bike either. Why do people have to be so damn pretentious.

How do you only get homework for Spanish? I get it in almost all subjects... :(

I'm just really good at not paying attention and doing my other homework instead because all my other classes come naturally to me. I'm not good at spanish so I have to pay attention there.

I'm not sure what's worse. My 12 year old tv blowing our or my coffee grinder grinding to a halt. :hmm:

Posting live from Cortland. We're here to look at SUNY Cortland, which I didn't really want to see. Halfway through the 4-hour drive, we got hit by rain, then extreme rain, then hail, followed by extreme hail. We had to pull over to the side of the road, because Ma just couldn't see where she was going at all. We waited it out. It was quite an adventure. Although it did put some beautiful fog over the green mountains.

Anyways, now we're all here at the fabulous Cortland Comfort Inn, where I have a wonderful view of a giant pile of dirt. Free wireless though!
