I've got this really close friend, and we can pretty much tell each other anything with utmost trust. But she keeps telling me about how she has to move away down south during the summer... She obviously doesn't want to, and she keeps telling me it. The thing is, it's getting annoying. I keep trying to comfort her about it but she won't listen, instead preferring to believe she will lose her friends, family, and everything in her life. It almost seems she is bordering on being selfish, because she doesn't seem to realize her friends and family are going to miss her just as much, if not more. I'm struggling of things to say to her...

It probably won't work but you can tell her you know a guy on the internet whose friend moved all the way to California but emails and such and sees him when he visits. And California has got to be a lot farther away than however far south she's going in your little pissant country.

My crush has dumped me for Bone Crusher! I've officially given up hope and accepted my fate. I'm never going to be with her. She's transferring out of Latin next year and moving to the ATL. And I'm moving into 100 Algebra II next year, which is not in the ATL. She's staying in Bone Crusher's hood. Bone Crusher, if you're reading this now, you win. You can have her. I've completely given up all hope. I've been through a lot of suffering and pain. And I caused it. Because I was too stubborn to face the truth:

We just had a basketball game and lost 75-109. The saddest part is, that was actually a pretty good showing for our team. I don't think I've ever seen them score more than 50 points in a single game before.

I have an awesome idea for a new avatar (it may be somewhat familiar to some of you; meh) but I can't use it until Valentine's Day because I have a self-imposed limit of semimonthly avatar changes.
