Random Rants XIX: Failure Tactics

The gym system in our school is the stupidest thing I have ever seen.

Basically, if you miss a gym class, no matter what reason, you have to make it up in a free period to earn credit (presumably to prevent cutting class). However, because I am taking Photography next semester and also have my study hall then, I have no free period because of the many required classes I have to take as a sophomore. All of them are in this semester.

I missed four gym classes for the four days I was out when I got swine flu. Because of that, I have an F for that period of time. As a result, I have a C in Gym. So basically, I'm going to miss honor roll this quarter because I got swine flu.

Ridiculous.

Which is why you get a medical certificate proving that you were unable to make the class on those days.

I got duped into watching a youtube video of a girl smoking pot, thinking it was sex-related. Now i'm gonna get "recommended" videos of people smoking pot clogging up my "recommended for you" section.

I'm sure he knows what he's doing. It's not that uncommon, actually, I know a guy who did it with his class and he's not some super-athlete or whatever. He survived it.

He's a Swedish Physical Education (Idrott & Hälsa = Gym & Health, which means he's specialized in how to live a healthy life) teacher. He also studied Biology at S.U.

I think he's perfectly fit to lead something like this...
