Random Rants XL: I'm having trouble growing my wood

A few months ago I told my mother the fridge wasnt acting right and she tried to say it was. Then everything melted. And she blamed me for not telling her harder. There was something broken to do with the thing that measures the temperature and adjusts it.

It's only because employers have a stick up their bums and not giving the unemployed a chance! Some people don't understand how disheartening it is when you eather get rejection letters or no response at all.

You either want a job or you don't.

If you do, you will find one. But, if you're sensible, you won't.

If you can live without, why on earth would you want a job? A job is just one stupid way to spend 1/3 of your entire life.

Doesn't let you off the hook, though. You must still work, whether you have a job or not. A lot depends on what you mean by work.

Since losing it about three years ago, yes, he hasn't been able to stop talking about it.

Yeah, last year (or was it the year before?), he mentioned having lost it on Christmas day, but in actuality, it happened two days prior to x-mas. (an old rants thread in the archives will confirm this. I'm too lazy to search so do it yourselves. ), but I didn't have the heart to tell him.

my building's internet sucks .

I don't care about speed (speed it actually fine; last year the place you couldn't watch youtube above like 360p or so) but the different provider has the internet like cut off randomly for ~2-15minute intervals or so.

which makes being in the middle of an online game very difficult when internet goes out

Oh gos shoot me now, there's been drainage backup in my laundry room and now there's two inches of sewage through out the downstairs of my home. Oh, and the new cloths I just bought that were at the bottom of my laundry basket that was sitting on my laundry room floor are now completely ruined.

To be fair, it's been three years since I've lost my job. Comments like these are starting to get my goat now (not just getting disheartening) and is actually gotten me ticked off enough to bounce out of my own rut.

My apologies for overgeneralising, but you see my point, right? It's all well and good to rant about something, but if you want things to change you have to get out there and change them.
