the Ai is a complete crapshoot in *all* games, Mr. intercontinental missile.

I wouldn't be complaining if I hadn't read some people write that SMAC had the best diplomacy of all Civ games. Sometimes I wonder why I put so much stock in video game nostalgia. I've already been burned on that with Battlefield 2 Strike on Karkand.

Giving custom SWEPs to NPCs doesnt always work. (This one lets you throw headcrabs at enemies.)

I'm very tired of stupid internet fads. Two in particular come to mind that have really been ticking me off lately.

First is zombies. Zombies are a huge part of "internet culture". All sorts of zombie stuff on the net. This is where the crap originated, and now it's spewing all over the place, even now polluting the offline world as well.

Ridiculous. The British government has actually made a plan in case of a zombie attack. Stop it with this crap. Zombies are so stupid. Even in Call of Duty they aren't that fun or cool.

Rant two:

Enough with people saying "'Merica". You know, saying America but dropping the first A. This came up completely out of nowhere. I don't know where this originated, but it couldn't have been going on for more than six months tops. Just a totally random internet fad. And certainly a stupid one. I live in an incredibly redneck town that has the type of '"mericans" they're talking about, but indeed the only people that ACTUALLY drop the first A in America are not the rednecks themselves, but internet posters that want to make fun of them. Think those pictures are funny? They're not. Quit wasting your time and get a job (but don't get a job as a comedian, because your jokes are terrible at best).

But the point is still valid. The type of big-gulp, pro gun rednecks they're talking about (plenty of which live in my area) don't actually say any of that. They just say "America". It's stupid. It's very easy to make fun of these people the right way, so why do you resort to making things up out of thin air?
