I would if I could, but while tethering is incorporated into the plan, damned thing refuses to tether. Plus, the owners of the house I live in refuses to let residents use their internet, because they've had issues with previous residents from before I moved in. So I depend on visiting my folks place on the weekends or visiting friends for computer internet.

And the wifi at work kept kicking me off and banning me simply for visiting cfc.

Currently, Source's avi utility does not create open-dml 2.0 compliant files, meaning files over 2 gb are corrupt, and has a 4 gb cap.

I just use the tga+wav VirtualDub method now

My landlord won't let you move into an apartment until after they have cleaned the place and painted the walls. They give themselves 7 days to do this after the beginning of your lease, so not only are you paying for them to paint it through your first month's rent (doubled), you're also paying to not live in your apartment. Anyway it typically only takes 2 days for them to do this and they call you and you pick up your keys. Well today is the 4th day since our lease started and they hadn't called. So I called them and sure enough it had been ready for a couple of days but they're lazy and stupid and didn't think to call.

So I get the keys and then before I leave, I think to check my bank account on my phone. Reason being is that we had been using an automatic draft to pay our rent on our current apartment, but when we signed this new lease for the new apartment we had to pay off the last two months on our current lease in full. We did that and I filled out the form to cancel the auto-draft weeks ago but I thought I better check to see if they canceled it before I left the building. Sure enough, they had failed to cancel the auto-draft and charged me an additional month's rent that I had already paid. Then they told me it would take a week to cut me a check and they would call me when it was ready. So I'll just be calling them every day until they cut it because they can't be trusted.

Then I go and inspect the new flat and they didn't actually paint it. It's obvious they didn't from the scuffs, etc. They also left one of the closet doors broken (WTH?) and there is some other issues like that. I'm taking lots and lots of pictures this time and making sure they fix it all before we actually move over there.

I paid these people a whole lot of money just to move to a nicer apartment and they are still dicking me over.

I have to find six scholarly sources on the thrilling topic of corn subsidies. The ones I do find are usually in impenetrable economic jargon.

And I have a five-page essay due this weekend.

And I have to attend a wedding this weekend as well.

And I have another five-pager due Wednesday.

And two ten-pagers later this month or so, one of which requires me to hunt down information on pagan Lithuania (There isn't any. I should've picked something easier).

And I am slightly jealous of my friend.

Just ask to be banned for the time you are at uni and need to study.
