Some of my best Quakers are Friends.
Rant: got brand new, fresh out of the package replacement battery for my mp3 smart player. Charged it, as instructed for 6 hours. Turned it on, and as soon as I put the wireless on, battery drained to 10% in about a half hour.

Silver lining: company rep will contact me about the player...
Also getting a battery to replace the cheapie.

Just got home. All nice, except my mother called me a hour ago, that is 6:30AM. Goddammit, sleep and don't care that much!

No I do. She called me becaus I wasnt home yet. But she is always like "go out more", but then she monitors my time of arrival and stuff and she frequently sends me a lot of meaningless messages and its frankly exhausting.
Also my friends dragged me to the seediest gaybar in town. T'was not bad, but was Foam Party night. I cannot stand foam. Which is a pity, because there was this cute Taiwanese guy who tried to drag me downstairs to the foam covered area, with dubious intention. Could have been fun.

Rant to Rave: Rant first: effin' brand new battery reduced to 50% in ten minutes with the wi-fi on. The manufacturer rep calls when I am out, roommate answers (rather than let the machine get it) just out of the shower and I don't get the message. Now I wait for a call back about a $200 mp 3 player which has now cost me in labour hours (at $250/ hour of my time) about $1000.
