RANDOM RANTS XXI: Relapse

At work, a woman is after coming in who has apparently bathed in perfume before heading out. Couldn't actually breathe.

I have four sources completed, and just need one last right-wing one to keep everything nice and balanced... any ideas? I already did Heritage Foundation... I can't think of any others. :(

The topic is the effects of welfare programs on society.

Try the Cato Institute. They're a libertarian think tank.

I thought the opposite of big government was anarchy? How can you dislike anarchy and also big government?

Moderates tend to do that.

Tailless is correctomundo on this.

Random fun fact: the Libertarian Party splits often on the issue of minarchy vs. anarchy.

THE WORLD IS BLACK AND WHITE :mischief:

What's sad is that's true for most people. I'm a "liberal" according to my mom. ...and a "conservative" according to my Dad. :crazyeye:

Rant: Libertarians who claim to hate big business.

I do.

Small business is what makes the economy boom, not people in the corporate chairs, despite the pretty image politicians paint of them. Small business accounts for what, 60% of economic activity?

Bailouts for them, not those guys who just happen to be larger. 60% unemployed is 1.5 times more severe than 40% unemployed.

That and, well, I'm biased towards small business, being the son of the owner of one.

Perfect center, man, Perfect Center! All the cool kids are doing it!

Precisely!

Centrism is for squares.

Or diamonds, technically, judged on how political charts are drawn.

Then again, a diamond is just a square with differently angled sides... being a rhombus and all.

better idea:

don't take the test

WRYYY! Never! I like being able to arbitrarily define my position instead of being an individual!

Waitwut

Crap! You responded after I submitted the research... I'll include them in the final version though, since she doesn't limit the sources, just has a bare minimum.

Danke! :goodjob:

I am stuck on the second boss on Crash Bandicoot: the Wrath of Cortex. This is one of the most annoying bosses in a while: I've wasted like 50 lives on him, and have had to brave several continue screens.

Not even Dark Gaia was this evil!

His attacks consist of firing blue energy waves at you, sounds simple enough, except the blue energy moves fast enough, and while you have to jump over it, you have to time it PERFECTLY or get vaporised. You're also jumping across three platforms in the water, so you have to be careful not to land in the water... finally, the platforms fall if you stand on them for too long.

Add to this that his arsenal gets stronger each phase...

:wallbash:

I wish LBJ was Senate Majority Leader today instead of Harry Reid. Just look at the Johnson Treatment:

Man he could get things done. He knew how to arm twist, crack kneecaps and skulls and get his bills passed. If you got the Johnson Treatment you never forgot it.

he looks like my paternal grandfather

Weatherman says more rain is coming.

Goddamn it, I'm sick and tired of rain! [pissed]

For once, it's not raining here. It's actually quite nice. :D

I haven't played the game in about 5 years, but I do sort of remember that this boss was evil and took me a lot of tries to defeat. I also remember there being even eviler bosses later on.

Please tell me you're not serious... :(

Making matters worse is how easy this person beats the boss:
